Sho-Nuff Deli — Restaurant in Savannah

My gf and I came here a couple months ago or so, didn't make a review cause I forgot, but man this place was bad. We're from an actual city with bodegas and all that so I thought it was cool there was a 'deli' actually in walking distance.

A bunch of stuff on the shelves was out of date, as old as pre-covid dates. The site's info online was outdates for its prices, as far as delivery/pickup services went. Was just dirty and old and not in a charming way like a bodega in New York or something. The lady was nice but she clearly wasn't ready to take customers. I wanted burger and fries and my gf wanted the fish sandwich. Was like $30.... ridiculous, dude.

Burger was undercooked. Veggies on it were way too wet and probably were stowed away in the fridge for longer than I'd want to know. Gf's fish sandwich came without the bread, lol. I did not even try to eat my food. We also got mac n cheese and wow it was a watery mess. I get sometimes there's a blunder that goes on in places, but this was all unreasonable. Not a deli in the slightest, if you're daring to sell food to strangers then you have to up your game. Absolutely overpriced more than anything too, I was able to get a delicious hero sandwich plus fries and a soda for $10-11 back in the Bronx. Hopefully the...

Made an account just to write a review. Very unassuming place, likely something you might pass up and not try, standing room only, take-out or order online is best, but yall this food is incredible. Ribs, sauce on the side, peach cobbler, fries and Mac & cheese... Everything I ordered is absolutely delicious. I live here, but where I'm from BBQ is a way of life and for many a way to pay the bills...so when I tell you the BBQ is good believe me its good. Don't be afraid to pop in! Give this place a try the owner...

My experience on my last visit was a disaster. I encountered fried spoiled chicken wings. The quantity of food is overpriced. The Combo meals do not come with drinks for combo plates. Ribs and Chicken off the grill are under cooked. Some side items taste thawed and old. Don't believe I will return again. Sad though the place even though small showed signs of being a neighborhood go to at one time....
