First time here, I’m new to the area for a travel assignment. I checked the ratings & saw this spot on TikTok, so I thought I’d give it a try plus I love to support black owned businesses🫶🏾

Food Ratings: I ordered the oxtails & lamb chops dinner, which came over rice, greens, & Mac & cheese. The oxtails 5🌟, the lamb chops 4🌟 (next time I’ll ask to cook med rare instead of medium well) the greens were 2🌟 missing something PLUS they don’t have cornbread💔, the mac & cheese 4🌟, the rice 5🌟. I’ll probably ask for more gravy over the rice next time.

Staff: Friendly & accommodating the cook did ask me how I liked my lamb chops cooked 5🌟

DO NOT believe the plates that you see on Tik Tok IG or online. I ordered smothered chicken, mac and cheese, and cabbage at $23. I received 3 fried Tyson chicken tenders with gravy on it. I was the fourth person to place my order when they opened. How in thee hell do I get cabbage in the consistency of baby food. After spending $80 for 3 plates, I still had to come home and eat something else. Look at the picture, would you eat that? Can you tell the “smothered chicken” from the “cabbage”? I waited from 130-230 and got home to this. Very disappointed. I got 3 plates and NOT ONE of them looked like...

Tried this restaurant for the first time and overall had a great experience. The place was very clean and well-kept, which is always a good first impression. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere feel warm and comfortable.

Since it was my first visit, I can’t speak on the consistency of the food or service over time, but what I had was fresh and enjoyable. I’ll definitely consider coming back to see if the quality holds up on the next visit. I will definitely will...
