Top's China Restaurant — Restaurant in Savannah

I’m well overdue for this Chinese takeout (or take away) review. Top China was the closest Chinese restaurant to home when I lived in the area (literally walking distance).

I love that you can order online and pay in store because sometimes the phone doesn’t do justice to the situation. But, shot out to Top China for honoring my written request online.

We ordered chicken wings by themselves (order of 4), chicken wings with beef fried rice combo, boneless spare ribs with vegetable fried rice, beef lo mein (add bean sprouts make spicy) and fried pork dumplings. Because we spent over $50 we received a complimentary order of sesame chicken.

I LOVE that they have bean sprouts because as I mentioned in another review, most Chinese takeout places here don’t. Their fried chicken is some of my favorite for Chinese takeout in Savannah and their beef is usually really tender and flavorful. The fried pork dumplings are great too, with or without the sauce and the sesame chicken hits but it’s a must that you eat it fresh. I’m a lo mein girl and theirs isn’t bad, but it isn’t my favorite.

I don’t think you can dine in here and I’m almost positive I didn’t see a bathroom which sucks (especially when you’re pregnant).

**I added a extra star, just noticed the notes on my food (without the additional charge) AND forgot, I asked for a cup of ice while I was there (large cup) asked her how much and she simply replied, “no, it’s okay”. I have NEVER… EVEEEEER received a free cup of ice from a Chinese restaurant. There’s always a charge lol and they never let me get ice in my reusable cup either.

I ordered lemon pepper wings from Tops China Restaurant on Fri. 02/18 and there was a long string of hair on my food. I reported the issue to the cashier and at first she did not want to refund me my money until I asked her why she through away the evidence. I had to asked for a refund twice and the customer service was horrible when I returned and showed the cashier the issue with the food. However I did get a full refund but I high recommend the Savannah and the SAVANNAH State University community which is my alumni school not support this restaurant at all. This is a horrible place to Oder food from and they really need to be be reported to the Health Department due to un-sanitation and no mask. This business needs to be closed down...

I had NEVER eaten from Tops b4... I was under the weather, my Daughter who is n Alaska working suggested I call Uber Eats & order from Tops. I’ve NEVER ordered Uber Eats so I wasn’t familiar with it. My Daughter ordered me 2 lg Chicken & Rice Soups & a order of Steamed Dumplings! OHHH MYYY GOODNESS😋❤️!!! My Grandchildren & I CAN NOT get enough TOPS!! The authenticity of it reminds me sooo much of home.. NEW JERSEY!!! The Customer Service was EXCELENTE’🤌🏽💋MUAHHHH... we’re having Tops AGAIN...
