Dollar General — Local services in Savannah

When trying to return something in which I had a receipt for purchase at another location the manager on duty was unknowledgeable on how to refund my money since the items were on sale at another store and not on sale at their store. She made a big deal out of it and then embarrass me in front of customers. Additionally, every time I go to the store and try to request cash back I'm always told that they're unable to do it because they just opened their drawer just came on duty. They should be prepared to offer cash back no matter what time of day or no matter what the shift change circumstances may be either you offer cash back...

This store must be under really bad management; the couple employees were decently nice.. but there are obviously bigger issues. I have never seen ANY store as messy as this one, there is literally stuff everywhere but the shelves. They even had to adjust the line of customers so the other employee could wheel something out of the back. Literally no room in there, it looks like they haven't properly stocked in YEARS. They're putting stuff out, but nothing is being cleared out the aisles, misplaced items aren't being returned to where they belong, nothing. I actually feel bad for the employees here, must be such a high stress...

The store is messy and unorganized. The aisles are hard to walk down with the cart which has a six foot bent pole attached it. I kept hitting items on the top shelves. If you mange to find an item that is priced and make it to the register and pay be prepared to carry all your bags at one time or leave them on the dirty floor as you take multiple trips to you car because the buggies don’t go out the door and no one is going to help you.
