Hector's Bistro — Restaurant in Sayreville

I ordered a Murphy wrap with French fries I was not expecting how huge it was actually had to take the rest of it home lol Hector and Nick Know how to run the show with a Small kitchen with Big Flavor Hector and Nick customer interaction is great we don't see that in restaurants nowadays it's very affordable comparing it to a diner and restaurant my bill was only 50.65 for a burger a wrap and Mozzarella sticks get that at a restaurant your looking at almost 100.00 dollars and something the portions that they serve are fantastic comparing it to a restaurant or diner lol the waitress/cashier Rhianna was very pleasant to talk to Rhianna 's Customer interaction is great we need people like Rhianna .also Hector's interaction with his customers is great l like how Hector's always comes out his kitchen greets his customers by name and with like knuckle touches the whole vibe in Hector's Bistro is great like how a restaurant/Bistro should be its amazing how the menu is endless huge all different varieties to choose from Burger,Empandas,wraps,rice bowls,samwiches so much never ending it's great what comes out of that Small Kitchen Big Flavor I encourage the public to go there

EAT AT HECTOR 'S BISTRO TRUST ME YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED I...

I knew this was a must have after being a patron, at monkey bar for so many years couldn’t wait to come out and support hector at his new bistro. At first glance, everything is completely remodeled and branding is on point. You really get a vibe that you are no longer in South Amboy and somewhere in a fun hip spot in Manhattan. The service was fantastic. My favorite part I must admit has to be the colorful and well design menus with lots of great pictures and excellent descriptions, dare to say that the food look better than the pictures? Everything was amazing and the service was friendly as always, and very accommodating. I typically don’t leave five stars across the board, but I must say Hector is really doing it right. I can’t wait to see what else he has in store and he gave me an inside scoop that he’ll be introducing specials just like he did at Monkey bar. I honestly can’t wait for the lobster to come back especially the amazing Seafood that he just knock your socks off. Conveniently located on US Highway nine northbound it is a super easy and out process. I will definitely be calling in take out orders and picking up on my way home from work. I was so excited to try this restaurant out because I have seen that it had great reviews before I was instantly disappointed after being there for almost an hour first, everything we tried to order was out of stock so we had to settle on some other items as we waited, another couple came in that seemed to know the owner and the chef and their food was served to them well before our food even came out Very disappointed and disrespectful. I ordered a French Onion burger without cheese and I specified because I’m allergic. I do not want cheese on the burger. The waitress told the cook and I heard her tell the cook no cheese on the burger after almost an hour when the burger did come out it had cheese on it. The waitress told the cook again. I told you no cheese. I then told the waitress to cancel the order. Then cook told the waitress i have another patty cooking so we will make another burger quickly. After the new burger came out the waitress said “ i took off the soda for you” to comp us for the mistake and waiting so long. But sure enough i get home and my burger STILL HAD CHEESE ALL OVER IT!!!!!!!! $35.00 for nothing.
