So I'm not gonna give them less than two stars , and the manager seemed like a good guy . But here is my review . It started off when our waitress kept telling us she would come back and take our order she just had to keep doing other things even tho 3 waitresses were there . So the manager came up and said if we had our order taken yet ? My wife said oh she said she'd be right back . The waitress came back and I'm guessing he said something to her because she showed up and said " I'm here now no need to put it on the bulletin board to him and once she saw that bothered us oh I was joking .
I had a chicken skillet and my wife had butcher skillet My food was ok for mine , my wife only ate a few bites of the skillet and when the waitress came back saw she didn't eat other than a few bites and asked if she wanted a box and she said no . I mean If you see the plate was still full ask us if everything is ok or what you could do but no you were still upset that your boss said something to you . The cups we're filthy for water and the plates you could smell the soap still under the skillet . When I went up to the cashier I tried explaining about the food but it was brushed off thanks .
The manager seemed like he genually cared about his people but the other people did not , he walked away when I went up to pay or I would've brought this to his attention . I took my wife here based on all the rave reviews but I'd rather go to wildberry or egg harbour cafe . I blew 30 dollars on sub par service .

Read moreUsed to like this place before Covid but my two experiences since then have been less than stellar. A few weeks ago I sat outside for lunch while waiting for an auto service nearby. The wait service was very slow and I waited forever to get a salad. The waitress was working inside and out and I think she was forgetting I was out there. I shrugged it off as the salad was very good. Today I ordered breakfast for pickup and was dissapointed. One of the two items was not what I ordered. When I got home I immmediately called and the phone went to voice mail. I left a message inquiring if I received the wrong order as I ordered a skillet with eggs over easy and the eggs are scrambled. I left my phone number and no one bothered to even call back! I ate the food and realized also the skillet was suppossed to have cheese which was no where to be found. I get that sometimes mistakes happen but apparently no one cares when it does. Very dissappointing that customers do not matter..
Their response said I called the wrong number but I did not and voicemail kicked in both when I initially called to make the order and when I called from home - same phone number! Why do I have to call them when they make a mistake. They have my number as I called in the order! I...
Read moreI had lunch here with my husband and my mom today, and had the best experience. The staff greeted us very warmly when we walked in, and all tables were very clean and inviting. My elderly mom eats here on occasion with her friend, and she knows some of the staff. It was nice to see her being treated so nicely. While my mom and husband enjoyed their breakfast choices, I indulged in a cheeseburger and golden fries. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy, and had a charbroiled taste. The chicken noodle soup was delicious as it was perfectly seasoned. We all had coffee and our cups kept getting refilled and topped-off. That’s huge compared to some restaurants where we have to flag down someone to ask for more coffee. We were so happy with our meals and the friendly atmosphere. I believe it was the owner that came over to ask how we were doing and if everything was okay. That was very nice to see. My husband told me that he’s running his small business as if it were a fine dining restaurant when it comes to customer service, good food, and cleanliness.
