Longshots Sports Bar — Restaurant in Schererville

I visited Longshots Sports Bar with a group of friends after we witnessed a vigilante inflict Justice upon a terrified city. When you enter there is a sign that says you need 2 forms of ID if you aren't from Indiana (I assume this is a joke as we had no issue being residents of the Land of Lincoln so do not worry). It was a Wednesday, and they had a live DJ who definitely provided great music. Their service is excellent- when my posse and I sat down a server immediately greeted us and provided a menu, asked what we wanted to drink, etc. The drinks were good and the food was typical of what you'd find at a bar. The crowd was a mix of young, some old, and all ethnicities. My only negatives are: 1) there are 2 pool tables but one seemed to be hogged by an older patron who wouldn't allow you to play unless it was against him 2) the music is great but there really isn't a space that you could consider a dance floor. This was My second time here to watch the Tyson fight we were immediately serve the waitress ask do I wanted to have open tab I did not know they walk around with your credit card inside of there aprons To me that is a security breach of my credit card I ask her to return my credit card to me she never came back to the table to clear it the security guard came over to take our plates I never experienced this before I request to talk to the Manager I explain to him It has been over an hour that this waitress never return to our table he told me there was nothing he can do for me I had a very nasty attitude and walk away this is why business do not grow because of customer...

Horrible experience when it came to the tab. A bar tender named Amanda mixed my tab with one of my friends and when we tried explaining it to her she made it seem as though it was our fault even though my friend had a completely different server and completely different tabs. She even put the DJ's drinks that my friend bought on my tab. The bouncer ( the tall bald a hole ) tried verbally forcing us out of there before we could settle our tab. I've been going there for years and this is the final straw. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR TAB THEY WILL PUT OTHERS DRINKS ON YOURS...
