Subway — Restaurant in Schoolcraft Township

This place in 2018 is miles ahead of where it was in 2017. Place is clean. Food is like it would be at any other Subway and is consistent. In 2017, the main problem was simply a lack of proper employee training, more specifically, the core food handling knowledge that every employee should be well versed in. 2018 seems to have a completely different staff, when in comparison to the previous employees, seem to be very well trained on food handling and all other aspects of their job. I will say that this is going off of only a few of my brief observations throughout my infrequent visits during the year. Another problem, although it may come across as me being impatient, is that during lunch hours, this location gets packed. One would think this would be a daily occurance and the staff knowing this, would be prepared for it, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Admittedly, I cannot comment on the current staff due to me refusing to go here during those busy hours after previous experiences. With this being said, after a few times of trying my luck and dealing with the wait, it seemed the employees didn't give much thought to the line of 20 people waiting to get food on their 30 minute lunch break. So much in fact, that during my 3-4 lunch visits, I witnessed would be customers get verbally upset and storm out, and very understandably so. As stated above however, the new staff has been impressive so far, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this issue as well. New staff seems great so far. I went to subway on 08/10/21 and to my disappointment both male employees were not wearing masks! They are putting the public in danger with the covid delta variant spreading so fast!!!! and the one employee was not doing a single thing except just standing in the way and playing with his hat and putting his hair all over the food area! i got a hair in my sub wrapper! (have a picture and witness if interested) He would have made a great statue in the park, not in subway, a place of business. The store was filthy! Every table had food all over them. It was the worst i've ever seen. If you want to stay safe from Covid WARNING, DO NOT go to subway in schoolcraft until they start to respect and care about their customers health and clean the place up and wear...

I stopped in to grab three sandwiches a little before seven pm. There two teen males working. One was obviously new. One man was ahead of me. When my turn arrived I ordered my first sandwich. At this point I was told that they were out of steak, chicken and meatballs. So I changed my order, slot. Ordering toppings, I was told after asked ng for cucumber that they were out. He offered to cut up a new one and I asked, please, feeling we had given up enough already. Ordering toppings for another sandwich, no more banana peppers. An as he made the now three club sandwiches he announced he was then out of ham.. I could tell they felt bad and we're trying to hurry for me although I indicated to rush. Nobody was behind me.
