We tried this place before and realized you have to come early to wait for a spot in line. We woke up early today and made our way over and saw that there was only 2 couples in front of us and were told the wait would be 20 minutes, not a problem we're patient people. While we were patiently waiting we watched 4 groups walk out and thought we would be seated soon. Not the case. There were 3 groups of people that just walked right by us and were seated without even having to put their names on the waiting list. We waited another 15-20 minutes because of the staff's lack of following the waiting list and seating people accordingly, but rather seating people they knew before people they did not. When we were finally seated our waitress was very rude and inconsiderate. She rushed us through the menu and gave us about 2 minutes to look at it. We put in our order and waited 30 MINUTES for it to even come out (mind you all the people who had been seated after us got their food and were done eating by the time we got our food). Not once did the waitress explain why it was taking so long, apologize, or even check in on us while we were sitting there for so long. We felt afraid to bother her to get a refill on our waters that was the kind of service we were receiving. This was the first and the last time we'll be...
Read moreI went today as I had a great experience back in February when I first tried this place. Today was a much different experience. Their site said they had outdoor seating available so I figured maybe I could eat there or worse case grab some takeout. When I walked in the tables weren't set up to permit social distancing, I didn't see outdoor seating (but I didn't really look), and the worst, there kitchen staff were not masked. I am fine getting take out if I feel the seating is a bit to cramped but the staff not wearing masks is not acceptable. Sadly I will not be returning. Sure they had great food but to care so little for there patrons safety is not okay.
I'd like to add I work in food service, and I wear a mask. Sure it's hot, it's a bit uncomfortable, but it's necessary. There is no reason to be preparing food for the public unmasked. If you need a break from it you take a break away from people and food. I'm not unsympathetic to the hurdles while working with the public right now. But seriously, I'm an asthmatic with sensory issues and still I work running around sweating to death with my mask on. It's for the safety of my coworkers and patrons. When I need a break I go to the back away from food and people to remove my mask for a minute. I can't with anti masking...
Read moreI had high hopes, and maybe we went on an off morning… but I have no plans to try again.
Super cute place, food was very average, and service was just okay.
A few weird things. The two women working the front just seemed generally unhappy about being there. Then there was a woman who had been in the back who came to the register area a few times to survey the room. A few times she also brought food out. But what got me was one time she was standing there she had her hands on her face and was then rubbing her nose…I’m assuming she washed her hands after that, but seriously, do that where the guests can’t see you.
We took three muffins home and they were horrible. I don’t know if they missed an ingredient, but these were the eirst muffins ever. We got blueberry, pumpkin oatmeal, and I think the third was like a coffee cake muffin. The pumpkin one has some flavor, but the other two were the most bland muffins ever. Three of us tried them and they just weren’t good. They were pretty, but flavorless.
Maybe I just need to go with one of the many folks that have had awesome experiences, because we certainly...
