Tomatoes II Pizzeria — Restaurant in Scott Township

I visited Tomatoes ll Pizzeria on July 31, 2018. I love my food and I love authenticity. I ordered a sicilian pizza first with pepperoni and 2 Italian hoagies. As I waited, I could smell my pizza cooking. I then ask for a round XXL with pepperoni. I didn't wait long. The smell in this small yet unique atmosphere was pure anticipation. When I got home, all I could think about was eating this pizza. The dough on the round pizza was not a heavy dough. Light, not doughie. Perfect actually! The sauce was very tasteful! Not to spicy, yet pleasant to the pallette. The cheese was just enough! I then tasted a piece of the Sicilian pizza. No surprise it too was perfection! I then tasted a piece of the Italian hoagie. The first thing I could taste was the freshness of the meats on a light, delightful hoagie roll. The best, fresh hoagie I have tasted. All in all I give this pizza shop, food, service, and especially the price, a 5 star and say , Thank you Tomatoes ll, for giving me one of the best meals I have ever brought home to my family. I stopped by with some friends and tried this little place at lunch since it was close to us. We are all glad we did! Where to start?

The pizza...we ordered a large with pepperoni. Very solid pizza. The pepperoni was the nice cup variety and had a little char on the edges. Boy it was good. We almost ordered a second one but we knew we had more food coming. The cheese was fresh and had a great pull. The flavor was balanced and darn near perfect!

The wings...these are the wing ding variety and are breaded. Did I say they are huge? Cooked perfectly and the 2 flavors we got, BBQ and Garlic Parm were perfect. Btw the ranch dressing was outstanding!

The cheesy bread sticks...when I say cheesy I mean cheesy! The cheese stretches as long as your arms. Btw, it's the same with the pizza when we ate it. The dipping sauce was a perfect compliment and did not disappoint.

The employees were extremely friendly and I can't recommend this place any more highly. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. I love finding these hidden gems and am...

We stopped into Tomatoes 2 on a whim, on the road, looking for something to eat. Guy at the counter was friendly, upbeat, and polite. When the pizza came out it was hot, plenty of sauce, no skimping on the toppings, and it was cut all the way through. Can’t tell you how many times I have to re-cut a pizza when I get it home. But this one was perfect. It was our first time there, but there will probably be more. The place has more of a take-out vibe, but there are a couple tables in there if you feel like eating in, which we did, and it was just fine. The guy who took our order was attentive and checked in on us often to make sure it was all good. If I had to come up with a criticism, I’d say the plastic forks and knives could be upgraded to something a little more firm and durable so they don’t ‘melt’ in the heat of the pizza, or maybe just have metal utensils available. But like I said, it’s more of a take-out place anyway, and the pizza was so delicious I didn’t mind too much....
