Dunkin' — Restaurant in Scranton

The worst service. 3 weeks ago I dud drive thru and ice coffee and 2 donuts - 1 Boston cream and 1 Old Fashion. I received 2 old fashion which were like hockey pucks! I was traveling so I didn't return to complain. Because the drive thru us so usually slow and terrible to drive away from we decided to go inside. 1 coffee, 1 ice coffee, 2 wraps. It was busy but we stood right by Puck up counter. After 15 minutes asked for food and told it was already picked up. Not made. I was watching every order. Took allowances for being busy. Finally after anifh 15 minutes asked again and told already picked up. There had been a woman wuth children in car and hungry who was waiting when we hit in line. I finally got food asking each staff repeatedly. I use the DD app all the time in several states and this is terrible service. Looked like they didn't have enough staff for the AM additionally the food was mostly going to the drive thru. I left Scranton 5 sats later and even though the Main Ave location is closest, I went out if my way to go to another location. The worst DD! Plus staff rude and lies. Very DISORGANIZED. UPDATED REVIEW 11/28/22 - Service was a little better. There was only drive thru service so this may have helped there not be such a long wait and not being skipped over in receiving my order. Still thought my coffee wasn't exactly as I ordered. But the food was hot. This is the closest Dunkin to where I visit in Scranton. Since my last terrible experience I have been going out of my way to get coffee for my return drive home. I used this location this week because I was in a hurry to get on the road. I will give it a try on my next visit to Scranton. Staff wasn't as rude via the drive-thru compared to in store. But the area for drive-thru still is out onto North Main after about 8-9 cars....

Yes, I have to agreee: this is BY FAR one of the WORST Dunkins I have EVER been to ! The person behind the counter had a lousy attitude. ( IF she smiled, her face might just crack ! ) I went to put a tip in the jar - and she totally IGNORED me. Bad enough she didn't thank me or at least acknowledge it - but she was looking at a fellow employee - ignoring me. (HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SAY 'THANKS"?) I put my hand back in to take the tip back - but still no reaction. She could care less. What an ingrate ! I should have kept my tip, and I told her so, and that she would never get another one from me - or see me there again. I asked another employee who THAT person was - and they told me SHE was the MANAGER ! ( YIKES ! ) And to top it all off - she charged me for something that I was SUPPOSED to get free with a coupon code that I gave her. (She must have done it AFTER I LEFT - because my receipt HAD the CORRECT price on it ! ) THIEF ! Not to mention the fact that she didn't make my iced coffee the way I asked her to - and it tasted 'old' and kind of burned - I had to ask another employee to fix it. OY-VEY ! UN-believeable ! Hey, they're NOT giving it away for FREE - so they SHOULD make it the way we want it - since we are PAYING FOR...

Probably the best Dunkin you can go to around here. everyone's friendly they always have enough cold brew. Now the biggest problems got to be the customers and their drive-thru. You got people trying to exit the entrance. yeah it's not marked but anyone with half a brain can figure out it's probably best just to keep on going where the other cars are exiting and not to forced your way into the place where people are coming into line. nothing is a coffee shop drive-thru I didn't think need to be said but you're not supposed to order 8 sandwiches or 2 dozen of specific donuts or six drinks because you're picking it up for work thats pretty much what the apps for or just going into the store. I've seen customers have a meltdown when the girl in the drive-thru tells them to pull into the parking lot and I'll bring the order out to them. Which I still believe it is totally unfair to the workers there

All we're asking is Karen's please only use the drive-thru for one or two drinks and maybe a doughnut and please stop forcing your way through in coming traffic not only my safety but for your safety as well. Now to the crew that work at that Dunkin great job keep up the good work and we're sorry...
