There are just as many things about this place that are wonderful as there are bad. Let's start with the good. The derocation is beautiful and the food 🌟Amazing🌟, it's truly authentic Mexican food. The waiting staff is also very friendly and welcoming, Carla in particular is very nice and fast. However, there are questionable things I've seen within this restaurant. For starters the atmosphere within this restaurant during the karaoke nights is foul and uncomfortable at best. The music is so vulgar and loud you feel like you're ears are bleeding and the amount of drunks harrasing you is disgusting. I've also noticed that the (untrained and unlicensed) waitresses are the ones making the alcoholic drinks and that the owners are rarely ever there. If you have children, I also advise you against bringing them along with you here as I have been unfortunate to witness customers regularly using the restrooms for things that aren't kid friendly. Overall this place has the potential to be a top tier, respectable, family friendly restaurant, but is actively losing it due to poor management on the...
Read moreAuthentic Mexican food at its core. There are two sides to this place, grocery and diner experience. First of, the selection for my favorite Mexican delights are usually stocked here including my new born passion for blue corn tortillas which I find have a greater nutrition quality than the norm. On to the diner/take out experience. I ordered take out once while one of my besties came to visit. The food was great. However, I’m more of a dine in person. Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The staff here is always courteous and helpful. Cristian, Alma, and everyone else invite you into their family. The food is hot which I personally love and more importantly it is right down knock the socks of your feet 👣 delicious 🤤 😋 I got ribs in green sauce with a side of rice and beans, corn tortillas. The ribs were melting off of the bone. 🤩 The fresh melon water I ordered was also just as delightful. Thank you for receiving me with open arms. It was a humbling and great community experience...
Read moreOverall, I wouldn't dine here again. I felt very uneasy and unwelcome.
We weren't greeted when we walked in. Even all the other diners looked up and looked at us like we were in the wrong place.
It took a long time for someone to come to the table to give menus. Took a long time for our order to be taken. The waitress never came back to see how things were, ask if we need to go boxes, or even bring our check. We had to go ask for boxes and then again for our check.
The food was ok. The torta portions are large and they don't slack on the fillings. The steak in the torta was lacking a good flavor and was bland. Not bad but not notably something I'd be back after.
We will stick with another locally owned authentic Mexican restaurant that greats and serves us with a smile. Plus their food is consistently...
