Not fancy decor nor exotic pizza but a step back in time to a 70$ pizza parlor..and that's okay because that's exactly what it is and their business is heavily takeout. They are busy as heck at peak times. The reason for that is their food is solid and well priced. They aim to please and provide courteous and friendly service.
We're new to the place and we've tried a couple different pizzas now. We rate them three and a half to four on a NEPA scale. We especially liked the square cut broccoli pie with generous cheese blend and a nice treatment of garlic and broccoli. The crust is particularly light and crispy on the square pie and similar on the round...although I may request it baked a touch longer since I like that extra browning. Staff is always friendly & accommodating on my requests on the hoagies, hoagie rolls are nice & soft, filled up with plenty of meats. The pizza is tasty, i prefer the round over the square, just my preference. Definitely a must try when your on the North Side / Keyser Valley side of Scranton. I don't get toppings on my pizza, ever, just my preference, the steak & cheese & Italian hoagies are...
