Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Scranton

Not fancy decor nor exotic pizza but a step back in time to a 70$ pizza parlor..and that's okay because that's exactly what it is and their business is heavily takeout. They are busy as heck at peak times. The reason for that is their food is solid and well priced. They aim to please and provide courteous and friendly service.

We're new to the place and we've tried a couple different pizzas now. We rate them three and a half to four on a NEPA scale. We especially liked the square cut broccoli pie with generous cheese blend and a nice treatment of garlic and broccoli.The crust is particularly light and crispy on the square pie and similar on the round...although I may request it baked a touch longer since I like that extra browning. We plan to try a few more exotic pies and some of the good looking hoagies.

Hands down the best Italian hoagie I've ever had, and I'm from the Philly area. The soft fresh seeded roll was just so good. I won't be able to have hoagies for awhile because I know no where else will be able to compare to this place. They offer their hoagies in regular and 2ft sizes at really reasonable prices. Worth the stop for lunch if you're in the area. It is cash only and they do provide an atm. So bring cash if you want to avoid those fees, but in my opinion even with the atm fee added into the total the prices weren't bad at all. 30$ for two hoagies and a pizza is a...

Great little pizza shop!! Pizza is great, hoagies are huge & very good, check out the ice tea, not sure what they use, but it's excellent!! Staff is always friendly & accommodating on my requests on the hoagies, hoagie rolls are nice & soft, filled up with plenty of meats. The pizza is tasty, i prefer the round over the square, just my preference. Definitely a must try when your on the North Side / Keyser Valley side of Scranton.
