The V Spot Bar — Restaurant in Scranton

3 girls from Buffalo, NY happened to stop in one night on Thursday, June 1st. We weren't too sure about the place when we walked in but I was greeted at the bar by Jerry. What a very nice pleasant guy I thought and of course cute too, lol. I placed my drink and food order with Jerry. He brought it over to our table and again was very pleasant. Well 3 seats at the bar became available so Jerry asked if we wanted to sit there instead of our table. Of course we agreed to move. My 2 girlfriends and I had the best time especially not knowing if we'd like The Vspot. We hated to leave but we were leaving the next morning for Ocean City, MD. So if you're passing through Scranton make sure to stop by The Vspot and tell Jerry the girls from Buffalo, NY said hi. Oh by the way, I only gave the food rating 4 stars because I had the chicken wings and of course, Buffalo has the best and I just couldn't give The Vspot 5 stars😉

Hello, it was my first time visiting the establishment. The security guard was very friendly and accommodating. I did not have cash to pay for entry, and my son was on his way to the establishment. I informed the security guard that my son would arrive in five minutes and pay the entrance fee in cash. Instead of asking us to wait outside, he kindly allowed us to enter, and my son arrived shortly after. This act of kindness was greatly appreciated.

The bartenders were efficient in taking and fulfilling orders. They were all pleasant and cheerful. The live band's performance was exceptional. Despite the establishment being crowded, I can understand why it was so busy after observing the friendly and professional demeanor of the staff members.

One word sums this place up: Ugh. There's nowhere to sit! Don't think that because you show up early you're guaranteed a table or a spot to sit, either. Get up to go to the bathroom and bam! Your seat is taken! Too bad!

The place is small and gets crowded because it's like the last venue in town for live music, sadly. They know this, obviously, because the last time I was there the cover charge was $10 and I showed up at midnight! Turtle service at the bar. There's no place to put your jacket or coat.

The place attracts rude, obnoxious people that will bump into you or spill your drink without apology; some will even call you names! Don't bother showering before showing up here! The guy standing next to me stunk so bad that it made my eyes water! Phew! I had to step outside for air.

The parking lot is small, unlit, muddy and usually full. Across the street!
