This was the most unwelcoming, awful experience!! First of all we came in ready to pay good money for pizza then were told no drinks or bottled water allowed in here!! There was no kind welcoming, the woman was extremely rude. I thought about leaving and giving another pizza place our business but we went back in since we were only getting a quick slice. We ate our pizza which was average, nothing special then we headed out saying goodbye to the owner and he looked right at me and said goodbye. We came back in as we forgot to use the restroom and I said to him, "is your bathroom this way?" He said yeah, but you have to buy something to use it!" I said, "we were just in here!" Then he looked at the server who served us for confirmation and we were approved to use the restroom. I felt more like a slave then a patron in this place, as if I was in a dictators country. There were signs everywhere saying no to this and no to that as well as signs that said if your food is not enjoyable please let us know, we will strive to accommodate you blah blah blah, how about having better customer service? The sign on the way out said "your best compliment would be to refer this place to your friends." I wouldn't recommend this place to a raccoon!!! They're famous alright, famously rude and I'll never forget it. Even if you're desperate, do not, I repeat do not go here!!! These people have no compassion, kindess or appreciation for you or your money. Hope this helps someone...
Read moreI have been going to Phil's pizza since they opened. It is Family owned and operated. I have never had the experience like these complaints I see. Maybe the customers should have told the owners about their unhappiness and the outcome may have been different. The pizza is awesome like no other out there. We can't wait until they open in the spring after a long winter of eating other pizza in the area that can't compare. So sorry for these people and their unhappiness. Summer is busy on any island and I am sure the owners would try to do their best if they were respected and told in the correct manner. In today's society people feel they are entitled to more and more. Entitlement is the key word for today's society. Try relaxing a little and be HAPPY. Life is too short to sweat...
