My first bite of ice cream was fantastic...it honestly was great. I was walking home and smiling, thinking about how great Scoops is, holding my cone, and then a stray dog came up to me and stood there, 3 feet in front of me with drool coming out of its mouth. It smelled my ice cream and started growling really loud, then aggressively barking, my ice cream fell off my cone (something I’ve heard is common at Scoops) and I froze. The dog jumped at my cone and bit, sinking its teeth into my hand, blood sprayed everywhere. I sank to the ground, yelling “whyyyyyy!!!!!!” as Kujo bit into my hips, my greatest weakness. After I woke up 23 years later from the coma that this incident caused, millions of dollars in hospital bills, and my family moved to Canada, I got the courage to write this review. This ice cream...
Read moreMy family went there for ice cream. HORRIBLE service. DO NOT GO. One of our orders were put in a cup when we had ordered a cone. When we asked for them to make it in a cone, they moved it over and didn’t make a new one, lazy. It was soft serve so it was so melted and a mess. Not to mention the cone was broken, the amount of ice cream was nonexistent and the sprinkles were minimal. So 5 dollars for five bites. Then another one of our orders wasn’t put fully into the cone so it fell off. When we asked for another they made our two scoop order a one scoop although it was their fault for not putting the ice cream into the cone enough. We won’t be back. We’ll drive to Marita’s and Springers for better service. I recommend you do the same. The service was SO...

Scoops has been a special place to me for every year I have been traveling to Sea Isle. While at first glance, the prices me seem “steep”, keep in mind, this is a local business, and they have set their prices to be able to pay their employees, purchase their supplies, and pay other building fees. While the ice cream my friend had was “on the smaller side”, it truly wasn’t. It was very hot out, so it is likely it started melting. Again, Scoops, I apologize for my friends harsh words, and I hope that this review can make up for the momentary damages that my “friend” may...
