This restaurant is not service dog friendly. My family and I ate here on a Saturday night in July. Knowing it would be very busy, I made a reservation the Monday before. Two hours before our reservation, I called the restaurant to request a table against a wall, away from server foot traffic, as I had a service dog accompanying me. The hostess told me she would make a note of this, speak with her boss, and call me back. I never received a call back. When we arrived, we were quickly ushered outside to a table. No outside tables were set for the evening and we were the only customers seated outside. I asked if we could please sit inside (it was a very hot evening) and was told no. I questioned if this was because of my service dog and the answer was yes. After a very long discussion with the manager, explaining that federal law states we must be allowed inside a business, we were finally allowed to sit inside. The manager even admitted that our original reservation was given away when they heard I was bringing my service dog. Our meal and service afterwards was great. The food was tasty and the waitstaff friendly. After our meal, I decided to speak with the manager about how inhospitable (and borderline illegal) his actions were that evening. Instead of apologizing for our experience, he smirked and told me to report him. I explained to him how alienating this was and that no one with a service dog or disability should have to feel this way when eating in public. There was simply no apology or empathy. The manager of this restaurant does not care about his customer service, knowing he receives new clientele each week. He was extremely disrespectful and insulting and we certainly did not feel...

We can’t believe we haven’t tried Sole Restaurant before—what a gem! From the moment we walked in, the entire staff made our family of four (including two little kids) feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and family-friendly, with just the right touch of coastal charm.
Now let’s talk about the pizza—absolutely amazing! Perfectly crisp, beautifully balanced, and full of authentic flavor. We later found out the pizza maker is from Italy, and it shows in every bite. He was so kind and even came by to chat briefly, which our kids thought was the coolest thing ever!
Our server, Ava, was top notch—attentive, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our entire meal. She made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.
Sole has instantly become a new must-visit for us in Sea Isle. If you haven’t been, go. You’ll wonder, like us, why it took...
Read moreWe had a decent meal here last month, but it was nothing special. The best part were the meatballs, and the spinach salad (which was overdressed). The worst part were the mussels - they were the tiniest I have EVER eaten, and 1/2 of the dozen we ordered were closed. The Stone Harbor pizza also sounded amazing but just didn't come together -- the crust was too thin and the ingredients on top were too heavy, and there was very little sauce/cheese holding it together so it just fell apart. The vibe was open and bright, which is a nice find for an Italian/Mediterranean place. We might come back and try again...
