Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Seaford

Tonight, my family I had a HORRIBLE experience!!! I spent $30. First they got the flavor of ice cream for our pint wrong. No complaints Then, I ordered a 5 layer gelati. This is my normal. Well when I tasted the watermelon ice, it had a weird taste/aftertaste, almost kind of a soapy/Chemical. I know things happen. It's the food industry. But the problem comes when I bring it back, LITERALLY 2mins later, explain the issue, present the Gelati, and I am told there is nothing they can do because I ate it. I TASTED IT. A little bite. Which is how I knew it wasn't good and had a issue. I didn't even ask for a refund. Just wanted a different flavor. I ended up having to buy another one. This is VERY upsetting and a HORRIBLE customer...

Rip off. Went to Rita's in Seaford, DE for 2 large custards with chocolate sprinkles. This is what I got for $6.28 ($5.49 + $0.79) each. I asked Ariana if these were large, like we asked for, and she said yes. "The custard settles in the cup" was what she said to me. Doesn't look like I will go there again and get ripped off. I compared what I got with what the example they have for amounts in the cup sizes that is above their machines. Doesn't even compare with their large size cup example. Rip off. They are more concerned with twist counts than filling the cup. Dairy Queen is consistent on their product and the cup is always full. Very disappointed. This isn't the first time this...

I went to Ritas the evening 8/22. One girl at the window was entertaining a friend. The girl that waited on me made one of my orders wrong twice. I asked for a small Geloti, half mango ice and half chocolate, vanilla custard . She made it all mango with chocolate custard. She had an attitude while dumping it. I was not told no choc ice. So i asked for half mango and half black cherry . She made it again all mango , this time vanilla custard as requested first time . She offered to remake a third time. I declined . Poor...
