August 23, 2022 was the day I met Gloria, Lucia’s niece. She asked me to help with their restaurant. Gloria told me about her story and about Lucia’s restaurant in Equador. I was beyond excited to have to know that Sealy would be getting this much needed restaurant in our historic downtown! I watched in awe as Gloria, Lucia and Christina (Lucia’s daughter) poured their heart and soul into this outstanding establishment. Every small detail was thought through with passion and love… and it shows. The atmosphere is a vibe. The music is on point. The service is outstanding. The wine and cocktail selection is amazing. The Caymus Cabarnet. But, let’s get to the food:) ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. The shrimp ceviche is probably my favorite item on the menu. The shrimp are big and delicious with the most amazing and refreshing flavor. My husband loved the grilled artichokes. The tomato basil soup and homemade bread is to die for, it’s actually homemade. The salmon, WOW. The salmon. Fantastic. Cooked with perfection. I pair it with the broccoli and cheese sauce and a garden salad. Now, that’s happiness. ;) My husband got the flat iron steak with fries. PLEASE get the fries. Those are hands down the best fries I have ever had in my life. The size, the seasoning and the texture were perfection. I am a French Fry connoisseur. ;) Incredible. Trust me. You can’t leave and not have dessert. The pies… TRUST ME, SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT. The pecan pie, the key lime and the berry are top runners. The grasshopper pie was all gone, but I know that would be my favorite. The chocolate martini is out of this world, and it’s not everyday that the owner comes to your table and serves it to you and your guests!!!! The coffee is something you HAVE to have. I got black coffee with homemade cream. Phenomenal. PLEASE come support this incredible restaurant. I personally have long awaited for this place to open among many others. It did not disappoint. We have been there two times now and I would actually go back again today for a burger even after being there last night for dinner! We are so blessed to have a restaurant like this here in Sealy and the fact that is owned and run by such incredible humans makes it even better. Congratulations on a job well done Lucia, Gloria and Christina. All of your hard work and dedication has paid off. Outstanding. 🤍

First off not a Sealy local , but visit Sealy when need things here and there. For appetizers got the Pork belly with crudités. Ok while the pork belly was a bit tough it did have enough sauce which was not too sweet. The blue cheese with pecans dipping sauce was a pleasant change of pace . The crudités were simple carrot and celery with grapes. The grapes with the dipping sauce was a nice mixture of funky and sweet. Wife got the 12oz steak with a potato and salad. The steak was cooked marvelously except it was on the thin side , but seasoned perfectly. The potato was semi fully loaded (no chives) no problems . But the salad with the herb Parmesan vinaigrette was fully of flavor with that subtle tang. Only minor problem was the size of the tomato as it fully covered the salad but was still great . I ordered the Octopus , Scallops and Prawns with a salads with Herb Parmesan vinaigrette and the Sealy Rice . Salad same as above , but the rice was not as good as described by the waitress. While it was flavorful the rice was a bit on the hard side and not my thing. In comparison the main dish was simply amazing , as the shrimp were both seasoned and cooked well. The Octopus while amazing was a bit on the charred end for the very end of the tentacle. But the star of it all was the scallops, not only were they buttery , soft and seasoned to the 9s , it’s smelled glorious. Food was great today the least. Lastly while this is a bit on the pricey side , it was still worth the money . On the next trip we may skip the appetizer and just have drinks it was an overall pleasant experience. See you soon.

What a treat! After a drive from Dallas, my husband, sister and I stopped to have dinner at Lucy’s. We were warmly greeted by Carson who took care of us throughout our dinning experience by helping us make our dinner choices enjoyable. The butter grilled artichokes with garlic mustard aioli were delicious. I chose the Strawberry, pear, pecan salad which was fresh with spinach; and the Parmesan vinaigrette was lightly mixed into the salad which was satisfying. My husband had the grilled BBQ chicken salad and was totally pleased with the BBQ chicken and freshness of the salad. My sister ordered the salmon fillet and it was prepared to her liking…medium. All our meals were delicious and the freshness of all the ingredients can’t be stressed enough. We ended our meal with Key Lime pie, Coconut Cream pie and Cherry pie, and coffees. The pies were savory and satisfied our sweet tooth. Sealy has something to be proud of in Lucy’s Pie House & Grill. Lidia

First, I do not think any of the reviews already for this place are real if you look at the people that left the reviews, they are not local to Sealy and have not left many other reviews before. All their reviews were left within hours of each other. This place has cute decor and a friendly waitress that is all I can say that’s nice. The food is ridiculously over priced, and I have never had such a bad steak in my life! The steak was under cooked and the cut of meat was so fatty we left half of it on our plates. It said it was a 22 oz “upper choice U.S. black Angus steak”, but did not mention it would be “bone in” steak. Also, they charged $58.45 for the horrible steak! The children’s menu had nothing under $12.99! For a child’s cheeseburger it is $14! The cheapest appetizer is $14 and it is just guacamole, sour cream, and tortilla chips. I can get that for free at other restaurants walking distance from them. Most appetizers were around $20. The cheapest burger they serve is $17.50, and if you want cheese they add $2! If we’re paying that kind of money, I expect better quality food. We were the only people eating there, and I watched the owners walk by our table multiple times and not once introduce themselves or even smile at our family. If you’re opening a new business, make people feel welcomed! This is not Texan Southern food. No chicken fried steak etc. The straws are paper, too. It is more like California/Austin type food. I wish them luck, but they need to lower their prices and look at the local market. Also, they need to work on smiling more and...
