Sooooooo from my original review, I did say that we would come back and try different entrees, and so we came back. And the experience was so much better, first it was not packed at all! Our waiter was super awesome and I wish I got his name, to the Hispanic guy who worked on May 22nd in the 4pm hour, YOU WERE THE BEST! He was so attentive, made great small talk and was super fast!! We finally got to try the Texas twinkies and they were great, the jalapeño ranch was so good!! Since it was Thursday we took advantage of the brisket specials, I got the half pound with a baked potato and Mac and cheese side. Their Mac and cheese is sooo good! They give you a good amount and the sauce is a great accompaniment. My boyfriend has brisket tacos and he was stuffed and said it was great also. Can’t wait to come back, prob on a weekday when not so busy lol. ————————————————— This place was very nice, lots of TVs to watch a game, bar area pretty big and lots of outside seating. The wait was a tad long but we went on a Sunday at 1pm and they were pretty busy so def understandable. Sadly the one reason why we drove almost 1 1/2h to taste the Texas twinkies, they were sold out :( but we did try the boudin balls and those were great!! My boyfriend tried the chicken fried steak and it was ok, they kept advertising that the crust doesn’t come off but that was the first thing it did, and it was a lot better with the gravy, which they forgot to give us and had to ask twice for. I ordered the sirloin med rare with twice baked mash and Mac and cheese. My steak was over cooked and kinda dry, waited for the waitress to come back so I could ask for steak sauce but she didn’t show back up till we were pretty much done with our meal. I do want to rave about the Mac and cheese, it was amazing! This visit doesn’t deter me from coming back, but I’ll probably wait till the hype dies down and maybe not go on a super busy day like a Sunday.

Traveling from Galveston to San Antonio my kids were hungry and wanted to stop somewhere. We picked the Wolf Pack in Sealy which is not too far off our route and we were so glad we did. My youngest daughter wanted crawfish. She ordered them with the “kick” which is how they described spicy. It was a slow but addictive burn licking her fingers til nothing left. My other daughter had the buffalo wings and then had to order herself some crawfish after stealing a couple from her sister. We ordered the Texas Twinkie’s to start, these are a must. Jalapeño’s stuffed with brisket and cream cheese wrapped with bacon and smoked. Are your mouths watering yet? My wife said the Paloma was the best she had ever had!! She highly recommends. She ordered the warm goat cheese salad with chicken for her main and says it is a new favorite. I ordered the 8oz sirloin with the twice backed potato served in a tiny cast iron steak cooked rare. Is there any other way? Perfection! Our service was great and the atmosphere was fantastic with outdoor shaded picnic tables. We will definitely be stopping here again. Thanks for a blessed experience and for raising the bar of expectations when in the middle of nowhere.

We were there ,asked to wait 15 minutes, no problem, we sat at the bar waiting to be called, after 30 minutes we asked one of the bartenders to check to see if they got our number wrong, the hostess had forgotten we were waiting, we finally were given a table, where we sat for over 30 minutes and never had a waiter or waitress come to our table. I thought maybe because we had drinks and an appetizer from out wait at the bar, they ignored us, we asked both a waitress who walked by and the hostess to please get us a waiter, 10 minutes went by and no one came, finally we saw one of the owner/ managers and told him about time we were waiting and ( it was not that busy) he said sorry, unacceptable , would get someone to take our order. 5 plus minutes and finally he brought someone, took our order and then wait for food was another 30 plus minutes. We were told salad would be out right away, 15 minutes and she had to go back and check on it. We really thought about leaving, but we were both hungry and had driven from Katy , just to try them out , as we had seen them on Eat Like a Local on channel 2 Houston ! No one offered water either ! No salt and pepper on table! When food finally came, there was a steak knife for the chicken fried steak, but not the bone in pork chop ! The pork chop had a good flavor, but was a bit dry, could have benefited from some applesauce or dipping sauce of some kind. The chicken fried steak was underwhelming, as it was not crispy as stated on show, the “ cream gravy “ was watery and very salty and poured over the steak ! The service at bar was excellent, bartenders were attentive and friendly! There was a Hispanic lady bussing tables and she was first one to acknowledge we needed help and even refilled my lemonade and got us a to go box for our appetizer, which were good( Texas Twinkies). She also told the waitress that finally came to us that the time we had waited for help was unacceptable and No Good ! Overall, I was very disappointed! We both were waiters in our younger days and I cook meals from scratch and know what things should be, but we like to watch the shows that show local restaurants and then go on the weekends to try them, and if good, we return many times and with groups of family. I wish I could say my experience was great, but it wasn’t. And I really wanted it to be great , as it was my choice for dinner for Saturday before...

We are frequent Wolfpack customers, and while we were sitting at our table, we opened up the google page to add a photo of our food & noticed a recent review about a girl with "chipped blue finger nails" Turns out we got the "chipped blue fingernails nails" girl today, and her name is Alaina- she was OUTSTANDING, we have had her few times and she is always super personable and friendly. We mentioned the review and she said she heard about it this morning and was so upset and shocked by it, she said she's never had a bad review... and we believe her! She is one of the best they have, so I'm just coming on here to let everyone know sometimes people have bad days and we should show grace, I wasn't here yesterday nor do I know how she treated the customers at that table, but I just don't believe this server would act in such a manner to be called names. The food is always great, sometimes the spice is off, and is a little too spicy, (which is why my go to is the turkey Club!) so we understand that part of the review. It wasn't very busy when we were there today, but all the servers were out and tending to their tables! Love Wolfpack and the team they have right now! We Will be back many...
