The bartender freaked out when I disputed a few beers. I absolutely never agreed to ordering or paying for 2 beers that she had on my tab at the end of the night. I had already paid another tab in full earlier in the night and had no disputes. I had no reason to scam the bar out of a couple of beers...She mentioned that they could look back at the cameras and I welcomed her to do so. She charged me because another customer walked off and didn’t pay. She assumed I covered this person, based on what she said when trying to defend her mistake, because I had talked to the guy earlier in the night. However, I never did anything in the least to signal I would be picking up his drinks. In my opinion, because she dropped the ball, she tried to cover her basis by having me pay for the drinks and she acted like an absolute child by throwing a temper tantrum and embarrassed herself with her behavior at the end of the night whether she knows it or not. I believe her name was Kenna, short for McKenna, for future customers. Be aware that you should pay cash if going to this bar to avoid her cheating you if at all possible as she is incapable of keeping up with her customer’s tab. Don’t be fooled by the nice facade like I was leading up to the end...
Read moreI wouldn't recommend the beef quesodillas. The flavor was nothing like taco meat... tasted more like sloppy joe flavor. The burgers and fries looked popular and nice portion but we only had appetizers which also included House Bread. Pita bread brushed with garlic butter and shredded parm cheese sprinkled on top. Flavor was good but felt like you were eating flavored chips with no salsa. One bartender, tho the place wasn't really busy, we had to request another water 2 times. Getting the beer refills out, took priority. We were visiting from out of town and our place didn't have access to the Mariners games. We just wanted to watch the Mariners game the day before we went to see them play at TMobile Park. The atmosphere was nice. Older crowd, and families. Not a rowdy place. If given the chance to go back we'd likely check out the burgers. It's kinda hard to mess...
Read moreFuel is a sports bar in Ballard on 15th close to Safeway near Holman. It's got a ton of TVs and usually shows sporting events of your choosing. The bartenders are usually on point, so there is never any problem there. They are pretty quick, even when it is packed to the brim (which is basically any time there is any sport playing, especially any Seattle team). Their wait staff has some great ones too. Their menu is a good size, although prices can be a bit steep for the portion size if it's not the happy hour menu. Some of their food items are really good though, like cheese curds, Mac n cheese, and their burgers. Their drink pours are a bit heavy which is also good, and they have slushies and shakes here too. It's a good spot to bring kids and they even have an outdoor area with a big TV when it's nice out. Overall a solid spot if you wanna watch a...
