EDIT 11/14/2024: The food truck has reopened after a few months of being closed. Instead of the original married couple working there, it's now a younger man. But rest assured the food is the same great quality and delicious. The downside is that it's CASH ONLY now, not sure why and not sure if that'll ever change. Zelle payments are also taken, but that was kind of a hassle to set up. Overall still one of my favorite spots in the area.

Read moreI want to like this place. They're used to be a taco truck on 80th, but that is no longer so was happy to see a new one move in. The food was just ok though and the prices were high for the quality. The burrito didn't have any pico or guacamole. The quesadilla was only meat and cheese. Sazon's quesadilla in comparison is a bit expensive, but significantly larger and has veggies inside as well. Carne asada inside the quesadilla was tough. The carnitas in the burrito was good and tender.
The salsas were excellent though! Great flavor and nice amount of spice. I think this place can be great, but needs a few additions to the dishes...
Read moreI was excited to see this truck open up in the neighborhood; I'd been on the lookout for a new spot ever since Maiz bought Sazon and changed their menu.
I ordered the asada torta, and it was awesome, exactly what I was looking for. Delicious, buttery bread, excellent flavor, hearty and filling. I like that there are beans in the sandwich too. There's also red, green, and habanero sauce available if you want some added flavor.
I got my food to-go, but there's a very nice patio seating area available next to the food truck if you're so inclined. You can pay via cash...
