I’ve frequented this pizza shop for several months. Every Monday or Tuesday I pick up a pizza and garlic knots. The last couple of times I’ve been in, the garlic knots have been over-cooked and lacked garlic, butter and parmesan... so they’ve been hard bread and I just ended up throwing them away.
Then I went to just buying a pizza. Once a week, every week. But the quality of the pizza went down-hill so much that my KIDS stopped eating it.
So tonight I fed my kids a sub from the Publix next door and order myself a chicken parm sub togo. $8.51 with tax for just a sub and no sides. I figured it must be good at that price with no sides. I opened it up and it was BLACK. It wasn’t just burnt it was like charcoal! The sub looked as if it had actually caught fire and some one put it out and then wrapped it for me. My 8 year old said the burnt smell of it made her sick and she told me not to eat it because she was scared of me getting sick. Well I did what any hungry person who just spent $8.51 on a sub would do... I picked out the cheese and chicken on the inside. But it wasn’t a piece of chicken breast. It was thinly sliced chicken meat that had been breaded and fried at one time and obviously refrigerated in an open container because it had a refrigerator taste.
I took pictures of it and then called the store. Told them I was really upset. They said they would make me another one if I came back. I said I wouldn’t be driving back to get a sub that they messed up the first time!
Nothing. No store credit. No reimbursement. No courtesy delivery of a new sub. Nothing.
I said I wanted to send the manager a picture of my charcoaled sub. I was given a number to text. So I texted the picture with no response.
I’ve been a loyal customer. I always tip well, even on take-outs. I’ve always been friendly with the staff. I’m on the rewards program. There’s no reason my food show be so bad!
25 minutes, a drive into town, and $8.51 later, and I’m eating an apple for dinner....

I arrived at the store at 7 PM, only to be told it would take another 10 minutes. However, I ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes in-store, which is absolutely unacceptable. I even considered asking for a refund.
If the store is experiencing delays due to high demand or other reasons, customers should be given accurate wait times to set proper expectations. This lack of transparency is frustrating. Furthermore, I noticed several other guests were also waiting excessively long for their food, which seems to be a recurring issue.
I haven’t tried the food yet, but I sincerely hope it’s fresh, and I’ll update my review after tasting it. Additionally, the staff's attitude added to my disappointment—they weren’t apologetic, nor was anything offered to make up for the extensive delay. Overall, a very unhappy experience so far.
This is an update to my earlier order. The single slice of pizza was cold, and the 14" pizza was just okay. The two sandwiches were terrible, and the hamburger was so bad it wasn’t even edible—it was like rubber. Additionally, they added ketchup mixed with mayonnaise, despite it being supposed to be mayonnaise only. The onion rings were also cold.
We have eaten here many times, and while it always takes forever, this was by far the worst the food has ever been. Super unhappy.
Read through the reviews. The owner is not even responding to the bad ones. A good business owner would read their reviews and respond to them. I would recommend Vics right down the street. Real amazing...
Read morePlaced a pick up order over the phone for knots extra butter mozzarella sticks a large pie and a Stromboli. The nice lady on the phone said it would be about 45 mins which is no problem. I understand, I've been hand tossing pizzas for 10 years as a second income. The wait wasn't an issue. However, when you arrive and pay for your 40 dollar meal and tip the staff, then the nice lady at the counter says your order is almost ready... everything is ready but they're just putting your Stromboli in now... ok wait a minute. A Stromboli half cooked which is how mine came out takes 10-15 minutes, a fully cooked one is more like 20. So in theory since the pizza takes roughly 12 minutes and the knots maybe 7-10 depending on how they're preped and the mozzarella sticks take 2-3 minutes at the most.. you would think that you'd time it up so everything comes out hot and fresh close too the same time. Come on guys you weren't slammed busy... so needless to say a hot half cooked Stromboli, cold sticks, cold knots, and a Luke warm pizza is what these cooks pride themselves on.... no wait... they put more effort into there tik toks they were watching and their text messages they were getting then using their brains to complete tasks properly... sorry guys it would've been great tasting if hot and done, but your...
