I just returned home from massage at Hair Saloon and Spa pretty disappointed. I had made appointment for 1 hour and informed the young lady I was only there for back massage. She left, I got on table, and when she returned she informed me she had changed my appointment to 1/2 hour because she didn't want to hurt my back. I didn't want to cause any problems and went along with change however I was was very frustrated that my appointment was shortened. I always have my back worked on for 1 hour because of muscle spasms. Massage did not last a full 30 minutes (about 25 in my recollection) and cost $37.00. I inquired about the price of a full hour and was told it cost $47.00. The massage was OK but the price seemed high as 1 hour was only $10.00 more. This salon needs to get their system in order. I moved back to Sedalia and was a returning customer. They booked me under a new name instead of the old one when I came back. I went for a second appointment and was told about the mistake as my previous stylist was no longer with them. The stylist and I laughed it off. I set an appointment a few weeks later for tomorrow and upon the appointment arriving I never received a text. I called them to confirm the appointment and the woman was very rude on the phone and told me I had not visited there salon in two years and there was no appointment for me. My contact information had been updated and I’ve changed it in the past year. I have a confirmation text from feb this year of my last appointment. That’s fine. I’m glad I followed up before my appointment, I would hate them to embarrass me at the front desk. I would rather drive longer and pay more money for better service...

The staff is incredibly talented and friendly. They know their job and love it! They're dedicated to the community in which they service and provide exceptional service at a fair price. I was just another random walk in, but I was treated as though they've known me forever and were quick to make me at ease in what was a new environment to me. I've never had my hair professionally colored and it's only my second experience having it cut. The stylist more than exceeded my expectations and my hair came out gorgeously! Every single staff member there was genuinely awesome up to and including the owner. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I'll definitely be a repeat customer!
