I never write reviews ever but I felt like I needed to on this. The food was pretty good and the service I mean was pretty good but before going in the restaurant yesterday I had looked to see if they were open which they were and the first review that I happend to see when clicking on the website it had said somone had been overcharged 30 dollars from the original price of there meal , I didn’t think anything of it but when I paid for my bill and got home I had seen that I had been overcharged 15 dallars over what my bill was and so we called and the answer I got was that it had looked like my tip had a line in front of in front making it 15 but my total was not anywhere close to that on my recipe when I wrote it down below my tip and I promise there was no line anywhere close to the 5 on the tip like I’m not sure where that story came from . I’m just saying obviously I’m not the only one who has been overcharged and this should be a problem that should be fixed immediately and something that shouldn’t happen on mutiple occasions, I get people mess up but it was pretty ironic that I saw the review the same night it happend to me. Read moreNo exaggeration; this is THE BEST place for barbecue in Sedalia! Their fried zucchini tastes EXACTLY like my mom's recipe, so savory, cheesy, and warm. The server explained that everything is home made, and I could tell it. I loved having a delicacy from my youth. Tonight I had the burnt ends, baked beans, and potato salad. The burnt ends were so tender, and coated with enough tangy barbecue sauce. What's more, there was only a smidgen of fat to cut out. The baked beans are loaded with flavor and not too sweet. I think the beef cooked in it adds to the awesomeness. I love mustard in potato salad (again, a specialty in my household), so I enjoyed this side too. So, I came hungry and left completely satisfied!
The only thing I would change are the times of operation. Still, I understand that with family businesses, the hours need to be this way due to costs. If this place is open, it is your moral imperative...
