Rodolfo's — Restaurant in Selma

My waitress refused to give me Chips for my to go order. She told me that I already had chips at the table when I ate my dinner and if I want more she needs to charge me an extra $1.50 for chips and $1.50 for salsa. I explained that I was inquiring about my to-go order ? I ordered $12.95 dinner to go to drop off at my Daughter’s house. when I check the order it didn’t have salsa and chips. I asked if they usually give salsa and chips for To go orders? She said yes, but you already had chips and salsa with your dinner….. I asked for the manager and then the other waitress came over with a smirk on her face to say if I wanted more chips and salsa I needed to pay for it. I was also told to call back and ask for Mercedes if i didn’t like the answer given. WOW! what customer service. Just an FYI my dinner and the To go order was separate checks. Seperate checks, seperate orders, but my Daughter doesn’t get chips and salsa because I had some at the table. NEVER going back, what a rip off.. Not too mention they charged me .84 cent service charge to use...

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I called in a reservation for a party of 22 and was told the banquet room would be available for us. When we got there, they would not honor the reservation. I had TWENTY guests with me to celebrate a birthday and they refused to accommodate us in the banquet room although it was available. They stated they needed a deposit days in advance, additional fees, and said they would have to use special plates in that room... WHAT?!?!? None of this was stated when I called in the reservation. In order to serve us, they insisted we break up our party and sit at separate tables in the main room. Typically restaurants will at least move some tables around to sit a large group, and they weren't even willing to do that. Out of principle, we didn't want to eat at a restaurant that would treat their customers like that. We ended up circling town trying to find someplace that would accommodate such a large group in short notice. I wouldn't give this place any stars. We ended up at Sal's just...

It's a nice place not real big but lots of nice decorations and it wasn't to busy so we were seated right away . Our waiter was a nice and welcoming young man. Showed us to our seats and got our drink order & brought us chips & some Pico de gallo . It was a little spicy but had a good flavor. We asked questions about the food because we don't like spicy or chili in our food before we ordered. It came pretty quick on a really hot place. Our food was hot to. Better hot then luke warm .It looked so delicious .We ordered Chicken Enchiladas, Rice & Beans. It was the Cook's Special. It was very tasty. We order a Tamale on the side but it had an over powering Red Chili powder taste and it was too hot for us to eat. So we told him we didn't want it and couldn't eat it. We had asked him if it was hot & spicy and he told us no. So he took it back and didn't charge us for it. We finished out meal. And drank our Limeade & Ice Tea . If we're in town again will probably stop...
