Rae’s Bus Station Diner — Restaurant in Seminole

All the good reviews must be from friends and family of employees or something. This place was terrible. No one greeted us or sat us (would have seated ourselves if there had been any open tables). No one gave us menus until we got up to get them ourselves. The tables are small and seriously overcrowded with stuff like jelly. The waitress didn't take our drink order until we'd been sitting awhile and were also ready to order food. It took a half hour to get our food. I had the chicken fried chicken sandwich, and it was small, bland and dry. It also cane with a small bag of Lay's (when the menu said comes with chips I expected something more homemade, I guess). My kids pancakes, eggs, and sausage were fine enough. My husband had a double meat cheese burger that was bland and burnt (he did say the habanero Jack cheese was good), it also came with chips. We showed up at 6:00 like the time says it opens online. You could see people standing inside not doing anything. It was raining so me my wife and kids got out in the rain to go to the door. The door was locked! Then a lady with black hair and a pony tail unlocked the door. My son is 2 my oldest is 4 and we all just stood in the rain while all this was going on. She poked her head out and said we don't open until 6:30. The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. So I said okay and she just repeatedly said okay back then closed us out in the rain. What's wrong with people these days? What happened to customer service? If this were my business I would have let that family come in out of the rain and sit until everything was ready. Horrible Horrible experience. While our waitress did an AMAZING job of attempting to take care of us, the rest of our experience was awful. We waited patiently after technical issues, a grill going down, and having to change our order. After an hour and a half of waiting and being told our meal would be comped, we were still waiting. We addressed our server and asked how much longer it would be to wait, only to be told they were putting her tickets to the back of the line. Absolutely despicable and unprofessional and utterly unfortunate for our wonderful server. It's disappointing, disrespectful, and disregarding of your customers for this to be the service received. ...
