Allie's Cafe — Restaurant in Seneca

Found Allie’s through a Google search and the reviews all looked good. Bacon cheeseburger, tots and cheeseburger soup were all fine. The soup wasn’t what I imagined but it was really pretty good.

Where things fell apart for me was waiting for my server to come back to refill my tea and to order pie but it never happened so I left without getting any dessert. I know…….I could have called her over but I thought when she took my empty plates she would ask, or even better, suggest it as it appears they had several homemade pies on the menu board. I should have known when she dropped my ticket off with my food that that was probably the last I’d see of her unfortunately.

Traveled up for a meeting and don’t get through Seneca very often so probably the last chance I’ll have had...

A Grizzly of the teeth on my first day I bought scrambled eggs bacon and I bought French toast everything taste the same as if I ate grease it was so greasy I said maybe they was having a bad day so I went the second day and got an omelette she said you can have anything you want on the omelette the two egg omelette or three egg I said three egg omelette and she said you can have anything you want on the omelette I said well do you have Spinach no we don't have Spinach well I guess I have the bacon the sausage and the cheese can I put hash browns in it will cost more so I was very disappointed with this food I won't be back tastes greasy each time I was eating breakfast food that tastes like dinner food I just kept tasting...

I was disappointed that we were told this place had good home cooking. When we decided to try it out, I didn't see that much diversity on the menu or many dishes I would consider "home cooking". We ordered breakfast, and it was just a tiny step up from a waffle house, right down to the plastic plates, except for the bacon. I give 5-stars to the bacon alone because it was excellent! The hash browns were too sparse. They should be more densely packed together, so you get your money's worth. The whole place seems to be run by teenage girls which is good to see young people, such responsible, hard workers! Check the hours before you go because they close...
