My gf and I decided to try this as the non-chain breakfast selections in Clemson are horrible. We arrived to find the restaurant practically full with only maybe one or two tables empty but still needing to be bused. We waited at the door thinking some one would clean one of the tables off and then seat us. Another party arrived as well and began waiting too. One of the two waitresses then says to have a seat where ever we would like, keeping in mind all the empty tables are still dirty, my gf and I decided waiting was best option ,as typically, guest don't sit at a dirty table. The party behind us didn't adhere to this and had a seat at one of the dirty tables, so we followed suit. After sitting at a dirty table it took a waitress atleast 5 mins to acknowledge we had sat down and begin clearing the table. She only took the dishes, asked for our drink order, and says she would be back to wipe the table off though she did leave a dish rag. So not wanting to sit a dirty table any longer, I wiped the table myself. The waitress had warned us that they were busy and it would be a few minutes. Okay so we wait....meanwhile the couple who had came in after us has gotten drinks, menus, and ordered food while we still have not even seen a menu. Again, I realize they are busy and severely understaffed. Another few parties come in and take seats at some new tables that have been vacated by past patrons. One of the new parties is then given menus and have their drinks order taken. At this point, around another 5-10 min has gone by since we have sat down. I'm kinda upset that other customers who have been sat down after us are now being serviced and we still have a dirty table. We left and didn't even see a menu. This place has to be a least decent as it was really busy and seems to have great reviews from previous patrons. I doubt we...

Today my wife and I tried this place for the first time as we have heard many good things about this place. We went for breakfast and we quickly got a table and our order was taken very quickly and the service was excellent. So no complaints for the wait or the service. But the food was the downside to this meal. My breakfast was the Biggen meal which consisted of Bacon, Sausage, Eggs, Toast, and Home fries. The bacon, sausage and toast was ok but not more than average. The eggs had the texture of frozen eggs like you get from a fast food place. And the home fries were easily the worst part of the meal. They were very depressing to look at. Zero seasoning and the fries were very limp. The texture was so off-putting. I couldn't eat more than two and I just gave up on them. My wife ordered the BBQ pulled pork and grits bowl. The grits were amazing, very nice and smooth and creamy. The eggs were the same as were on my plate so they were not good. And the pork tasted like they put it in a crockpot with a small amount of salt and pepper and cooked it on low for 8 hours and then threw it in the bowl and topped it with sauce. The pork was very disappointing and the sauce was probably from a grocery store. So to recap, the wait time 5/5. The service 5/5. The food 2/5 and that's me being generous. Maybe today was an off day which is what I would hope but I don't see myself going back in the...

We arrived almost an hour before closing time and the whole dining area was closed off except for 4 small tables to the left. The servers seemed to be more concerned with cleaning up than they were with waiting on customers. Within minutes the 4 tables were occupied so customers were then seated in the closed area. A young server wearing a headband seemed to be particularly aggravated at having to wait on customers. As she walked away from the tables you could hear her mumbling under her breath. An elderly man asked for a napkin as she walked by and she said “Over there” The man got up and walked to the counter at the front door and looked around then got some silverware that was wrapped in a napkin. Our food was good but no one bothered to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything. We finished our meal then sat there waiting for the check while servers walked past numerous times. Finally had to flag one down and ask for the check and then we were asked if we needed anything else lol. The door says open til 2:30 so why have 90% of the dining room closed off at 1:30 and act like customers coming in are an...
