Ate here while visiting Seneca for the first time. We had a long wait, but we honestly did not mind. The wait was just proof that this is a well-loved establishment. The staff was so pleasant and the food was amazing. It was a great welcome to the town. We would definitely go back.

If you like good Rock 'n' Roll music, you'll enjoy the tunes here.

My husband had the eggs Benedict, subbing the pork sausage for turkey sausage. He loved it! I witnessed that it had the perfect poached egg when he cut into it. His side was grits. He said they were also amazing!

I had the Huevos Rancheros with turkey sausage instead of pork sausage. Very flavorful! Well seasoned, served nice and hot. Had mine with fried eggs (fried hard, as requested). It was perfect.

My husband and I shared the strawberry pancakes with the strawberries cooked into the pancakes. We tried them with the pecan syrup. Everything was delicious!

The menu was vast, and we wanted to go back and try the lunch items, but time did not permit.

We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Seneca!

Also, to the beautiful lady that kept our coffee cups filled: Your nails were stunning and you have the most beautiful smile. Your kind heart alone is enough to keep this business thriving for many...

We stopped here for a late breakfast, that was a mistake. They had no tables when we arrived so we waited for one. Problem was, was on e seated we about froze to death. Put us & another black couple down in the back left hand corner where apparently the A/C blows full force on folks. Not acceptable. We were eventually moved to a warm area in which too eat breakfast, the other couple also moved. It took a lot, actually too much asking to be moved from the ice box. Our so called waitress was above & beyond rude. It was an e experience we really would prefer to avoid. THEY ARE ALSO CHARGING 75 cents more per egg. Other places haven't raised the price of an egg, others are usually only charging 50 cents per egg hike. We didn't appreciate the lack of manners from our waitress, slow service & la k of customer comfort due 2 freezing 2 death where they originally put us. Would be very hard pushed to go back k here. Rude unfriendly staff, seems to be a big thing in this area, rude & uninterested staff who couldn't really give a c--p about the service they provide to their customers. Sad really. Also sad that they put the almighty $ over...

Unfortunately I am incredibly disappointed with my time at Strickland’s. Me and my boyfriend decided to go there for breakfast as they have 4.7 stars and were one of the only places open on Sunday. That was a great mistake. We waited 45 minutes to be seated and then another 45 minutes to get our food. Our servers were very kind but obviously had too much on their hands. After our wait, our food arrived which was not impressive for the amount of time we waited. Not to mention our bill was $51 before tip. We both ordered waters. He got the Huevos Rancheros with a side of bacon and hashbrowns. I got their ā€œtraditional breakfastā€ and paid an extra $4 for bacon and another $4 for a single pancake. Overall, I don’t think I will ever return here. I can appreciate the ā€œmom and popsā€ style and atmosphere, but they are incredibly understaffed and their kitchen operates at a ridiculously slow pace. We should have just gone...

This was a late birthday breakfast for me that my son took me to. It was our first time eating there. I had 3 whole wheat pancakes with strawberries and chocolate chip with a side of Canadian bacon. My son had the Hash Royale and 3 buttermilk pancakes with blueberries and strawberries. The food was served warm and it was nostalgically delicious. It definitely took me back to my childhood. Good country eating and southern hospitality all rolled into one. The service definitely complimented the food. The atmosphere and the music is definitely my mom's generation but very classic, and adds to the nostalgia. I'm glad we got there early because the crowd came afterwards, but it's definitely worth the wait.

While camping at our favorite campground, Oconee Point ,we ate at Stricklands in Seneca for breakfast. It was a little pricy for 2 people at a mom and pop place, but the food was so good. My husband got 3 pancakes that were very fluffy and 2 scrambled eggs and a coke, I got a 2 stack of French toast, which was very good. It had cinnamon in it. You didn't even need syrup.i also got 2 scrambled eggs with peppers and onions and a oj. . Our total bill was $53. So what's the little pricey ,we definitely would go back. Is the food was that good.
