Been in the area for almost 3 years and just now tried Time Drive In. Very busy place but they turn tables quickly and get a fair bit of carry out from what I saw. I got the chili cheese burger with slaw and I had to try the gravy fries. It came out quickly because they're so busy they can fry them up knowing they'll be selling them. Good chili for burgers and dogs. Thick and tasty, not sloppy and messy. The gravy fries were covered with decent brown gravy with lots of black pepper. The serving was quite generous and I only ate half, well maybe 2/3. Better than plain old ketchup. Definitely worth another trip.

The chicken and onion rings and chicken livers were so hard. I think they put in some kind of corn meal or additional agent trying to make crispy but it was overly crispy and over cooked, siding on hard. Coleslaw was in a plastic cup but not covered and was hot in 10 mins of driving home. Hamburger steak was greasy and not appetizing. Wouldn't want to return unless they get a better cook. $42.00 for three low quality meals. Go to chili's or Applebee's same price but much more delicious.

I had heard about this spot from the show ā€œChrisley Knows Bestā€. He grew up going to this diner. We were very disappointed in the food. The burgers were not made with fresh beef, and it was obvious they came straight out of freezer and cooked on the griddle. The exterior is very quant just like the interior with the appeal of early 70’s. A little work to the place and upgrade the MENU and this place would have customers waiting to get in.

Time Drive Inn has lost their mind! I wish I could give them NO stars. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE. I will NEVER eat there again…like never! They did not secure the coleslaw so of course it wastes out in the box and completely got the bun soggy on the burger. I called to tell them and one manager said ā€œWe don’t make mistakes so there’s nothing we can doā€. 😳 I asked to speak to the other manager (I’m assuming he is the owner) and he says I can’t bc he’s not available to talk to me (after I HEARD the guy tell him to tell me that). The guy (foreigner manager) final gets on the phone and says ā€œmaybe you just dropped your box because we don’t let our food mess upā€. Now am I the only one who thinks this sounds absolutely absurd?!?!?! I won’t pay over $10 just to throw the food away again!!!!! They not only wasted my money, but to say ā€œwe don’t make mistakes so it’s definitely your faultā€ is the poorest customer service EVER!!!!!!! I used to LOVE this place. I am HUGE on customer service…been doing it all my life. But these people disappointed me to the core. Some may think ā€œit’s just a restaurantā€. But honestly, this place meant A LOT to me because I share so many memories of my late mom and I eating here all my life. This hit a little different because, although the food doesn’t taste the same as before, now I will never eat here again for other reasons….stripping me of those pieces of Mama that I try to...

I was in time drive in a couple weeks ago with my daughter and two small grandchildren. Normally when we think of something good to eat close by its time drive in. BUT this time was different. We got two cheeseburger plates and a chicken tender meal for the kids to share. They brought two tiny cups of sprite for each Child when we only asked for one and charged for both $2.39 each maybe more. The blonde headed waitress was very rude and we had to keep asking for everything that came with the plates, like the bread and salad and they charged me for extra ranch when the tender plate was supposed to come with it. The only thing extra we got was the gravy. But the total bill was $47.00. including the $2.00 extra they charged my card for some reason. I asked for a detailed receipt. I think the girl that rung us up just loves typing in prices. The food has gone down hill and prices are too high. I may not be back if they keep charging like they do with...

Tom drive-in used to be my favorite place as a child. That was before Friday night football games sometimes after the game, the food was great and it was good up until about 10 years ago. When the new people took over now, I’ll never go back. The food has been awful. I have i’ve gotten food with hair in it show it to him and they say it’s not if I do a takeout order I would call back and say I’ll bring it back to you and I’m not the only one there’s a lot of people that used to go there my age that will not go back there no more and we’re only in our late 40s early 50s, my daughter is 26 and she loved that place as a child growing up but she won’t go there if you want to get cheeseburger or any good food Youssef kitchen in Westminster South Carolina hands-down the best they even have a hot bar plenty of cheese from that’s where you see us at during the week and weekends bring back to old peoples time in and the old food when it was good and...
