Kovener's Korner Ice Cream — Restaurant in Seymour

This is the cutest little outdoor ice cream place I may have ever seen! We went on Easter Sunday so we expected it to be busy. Especially around 4. The line wasn't too long but the vanilla ice cream was frozen and we had to wait for it to thaw a little. Once it did, the line was moving and they were getting ice cream out fast! A worker came out and told us what was going on and we appreciated it! She did good giving us a longer estimated wait time so we'd be surprised if it was ready sooner! We ordered a strawberry milkshake, a vanilla milkshake, a malt chocolate avalanche with cookie dough and a pepsi float. Of course both adults had to taste test all the ice cream and I kid you not, those were some of the best milkshakes I've ever had! Beware- a medium cone is two scoops! I probably should have asked when I ordered, so the fact that I had a hard time keeping up with my melting cone in the 90+ degree weather is on me. Absolutely the best summer staple, a classic evening stop. We like to try their specials. So far the favorite has been strawberry shortcake. Love the tradition and friendly faces. Grab a cone or cup of your favorite flavor or mix up a shake or avalanche. Always an A+...
