Edit: 2025 Pizza way over priced Pizza tastes bad
Most importantly, I walked in, ordered to go, clicked "no tip", since I'm not getting served by anyone. "Are you SURE you don't want to leave a tip?"
Do better.
Good: Pretzel taste Pizza look
Bad: No flights Pretzel look Pizza taste Noise Bathroom sinks Staff
Once I got over how hideous our pretzel looked, it was actually quite yummy. The mustard was pretty blah, but the cheese was quite delicious despite it looking like childhood paste. We had high hopes for the pizza looking at it, but when it comes to wood fired pizza there is just so many places with better tasting wood pizza. The staff also seemed to be running around not quite sure what they where doing just yet. Honestly though how do you open a new brewery and not have flights of beer?! I feel like a lot of this could have been cleared up by soft opening a week earlier. Nobody ever just opens to the public without a soft opening in this space. I feel like this must be their first time working in this space.
As far as the space goes it's just a cold hard surface that reverberates and amplifies, it's un pleasant. Perhaps when the "there's something new in town" crowd dies out, it won't be completely awful. The other gripe I have about the space is the bathroom sinks. As someone with not tiny little human hands, I find the faucet doesn't stick out into the bowl far enough to wash my hands without hitting the back of the sink (gross).
The beer? Nothing to fall in love with, but I didn't hate what I tried either. Other breweries in the area definitely have their crap way more together than here though. Hopefully in a month they'll have their...
Read moreI wanted to love this place. First, there are positives. As someone who loves breweries but doesn’t drink beer I appreciated a full bar and the seltzer option. I also appreciate offering food. But that’s about it. We ordered 1 pizza and it was clearly forgotten about, and what’s worse the staff obviously lied to us about it being made. It took almost an hour to receive our food and the staff acted as they could’ve cared less, including what appeared to be the manager/owner. The pizza was…fine? Nothing that would strictly bring me back. The bathrooms were not cleaned and clearly hadn’t been attended to in a while. What’s mostly disappointing is that in a time where almost every place is short staffed they didn’t appear to be at all. And the place certainly wasn’t packed. We live nearby and I hope this was a fluke because I’d like to try it again, but I’m hesitant. For a first...
Read moreLet’s start with the food.
Got a couple pizzas. They were 10-14”, somewhere in there, and cost $14-$16. For comparison’s sake, I suggest two other entrees from two establishments, one local, one not as much.
To get the local value comparison, go eat a pineapple rice bowl at Bravis; $16 for two meats. This is a huge value and very good quality meal for $16.
To get a more apples to apples (or pizzas to pizzas) comparison, kindly see Punch Pizza. Spend the same amount there and eat that pizza and the rough equivalent at Mana. Pretty close on price, not so much on quality.
That giant pretzel is great, however.
The beers, unfortunately, didn’t do much for me, but I see a hazy was just tapped so I’ll be sure and try that.
Welcome to the...
