I live in Etna and I am in the food service industry. This location constantly and consistently cannot get their orders correct to save their life. Believe me I get that they're young, i work with young, but they need the line to read the tickets in order to give food correctly and perform their job.Duties correctly and they are supposed to have managers who guide them in this process. I personally think the manager needs retrain.Especially the one who is there tonight. I ordered a double cheeseburger.Extra cheese, extra onion and no pickle. I leave the drive through. Come home out of the freezing cold. First off my basket of fries handed to me out the drive through window was ice cold.I had to request a new one. I get home, open up my burger take a bite and spit it out. Open the burger and there is not one onion on that burger, let alone extra onion. I'm mad. It's my only day off. I'm starving and now I have to get back in my car and drive to mcdonald's which I do. Get out of my car this time and go inside. Explain to them what happened. Show them the ticket, show them the burger, they make me a new one.. I say to the girl honey, do I need to open this here to check it? And she told me, yes to do that. And I'm so glad I did, because once again. Yeah, new burger ketchup all over it all over my hands, but not one onion on this burger. They remake it again. And the manager comes out and hands it to me and says, sorry about that.Extra cheese extra onion, no pickle. I said yes, and I opened this burger up in front of them. And I laughed and looked at him, there was literally 7 little pieces of hydrated onion on my burger, and then he has the nerve and the gumption to tell me that it's on both patties. So right in front of him, I picked this burger apart. And there is literally twelve hydrated little teeny tiny hydrated onion on this burger. O m g I thought my head was gonna pop off my shoulders because he absolutely thought, but there was nothing wrong with this. I guess just anybody can be a mcdonald's man.Ager, now because you sure as heck, don't have to have a brain in your head. So mad and so angry, that after 3 cheeseburgers with the correct modification instructions on it.And I still can't get a mcdonald's double cheeseburger the way I want it. No wonder our youth. It's going to be so in trouble, the role of the manager partly, is to develop your employees. If the manager doesn't know what the hell he's doing. How are these employees supposed to know. This place is a joke. Finally, in frustration, I just threw my hands up in the air and just asked for my money back and left. After 3 times that's just an. I don't care attitude because it's not that hard.Guys it's not rocket science. Like I said, I'm in the food service industry. Do I need to come back there and show the employees and the manager what the hell...
Read moreI dined inside at this McDonald's on 5/22/19 with my daughter. Ordered the Filet-o-fish meal and 10 chicken nugget meal. I carried my tray to my table and when I opened the Filet-o-fish container, the sandwich had already had a bite taken from it and tartar sauce splashed all over the inside of the container. It was disgusting.
I immediately brought the whole tray to the counter and complained to two staff people, told them the situation and asked to speak to the manager/supervisor. The supervisor came out and when I told him what happened he immediately and nastily accused me of lying, said his "crew" would never do such a thing and that it was "psychotic." He wouldn't even listen to me. He treated me terribly.
He refunded my money and and said, "Just Go! I want you to get out of my restaurant!" I told him I had been coming to this McDonald's for years and that was my dinner. Why would I make up a story? (Been going here for 12 years and nothing like this has ever happened.)
He was so mean to me and wouldn't believe me. He picked up the sandwich and threw it into the trash. He kept saying, "no way" his staff would do this. He didn't even take into consideration that someone may have returned it after taking a bite, and that his staff then gave it to me. Either way, if I were the manager I would want to find out what happened that I got served a bit-into sandwich.
Totally unacceptable, disgusting, and probably breaking some health code violations.
Then, another staff person approached us while we were arguing and said with all sincerity that there is no way the staff there would bite into my sandwich, because "no one here even likes the fish."
So, not only did a have a vile experience at this restaurant, but then when I went to the supervisor with a valid complaint, was...
Read moreIn the drive thru, the presenter literally was mute, no hi, here you go, have a nice day, or even a go F yourself. So, when I didn't see my nugget sauce I asked for it. Again, without saying a word shuts the window in my face and comes back with the sauce. Finally speaking, says (it's in the bottom of the bag if you would have looked, she said with an attitude like I should just know...)No sorry, no have a nice day, nothing...So I got a little upset and asked for the manager. While I was trying to tell them how their job is supposed to be done and how to deal with people the manager said I was talking to her employee the wrong way. I didn't swear nothing, now my voice at this point I imagine had some passion behind it but nothing out of line whatsoever, then she closed the window on me. I then tried calling the restaurant 10 times and was just hung up on all but once when they finally lied about what the managers name was so I could report her to her boss. I know it was a lie because I had my wife call and ask for her to be sure and the second she asked for Barbara they hung up on her.
I was in such a good mood till I decided to get McDonald's, Wow, just God awful service and I used to be a GM and worked for McDonald's for 12 years I would have fired those people on sight, so I assume an actual manager wasn't there. It's my optimism that this isn't the cream of the crop here.
By the time I finally decided to call corporate instead of calling the restaurant for the 11th time my order was ice cold and nobody would eat it.
Stay classy McDonald's of shaler,...
