I have to say, this location has gone from great to not worth the time. I have visited this Taco Bell, 4 times in the last 4 months as I was pleased originally with the quality and service. During each of these 4 visits, I told one of the following:
1.) that the drive thru wait would be 20+ minutes 2.) payment systems don't work 3.) no response at drive thru causing multiple vehicles to pile up waiting, only to have someone come out with a cardboard sign saying "we're closed" at 9pm... 4.) kitchen is backed up and will be 20-30 minute wait (yesterday 7/31/24)
I understand that there are labor shortages and whatnot going on, but to have this happen on four separate occasions, something has got to give. I hope management is seeking solutions, because I will not be wasting time going back to this location after these experiences.
I’ve been to a lot of Taco Bells in different states and it’s been more noticeable in the last 5 years how inconsistent quality of food and service can be from location to location. This location is hands down the best in this area, their service is ALWAYS on point, people are friendly and accurate when they take your order and deliver it to you at the pickup window. The food is made correctly, and not over or under portioned on any of the ingredients. For a Taco Bell, this is exactly the way all of them should run. Keep up...
Read moreI'm not sure what happened to this location. I'm not proud of my eating habits but I used to eat here 2-3 times a week. Over the last few months the service has been getting progressively worse. A couple weeks ago I waited over 10 minutes to have my order taken, went got my sauce and drink and waited... and waited.... and waited. About 25 minutes after ordering they FINALLY realized I was still there, admitted to "forgetting about me" made amends and gave me a coupon for a free meal. I understand mistakes happen. I went back to get my free meal and I recieved a half(?) of quesorito, tiny, tiny pathetic cold little thing, and several cold soggy tacos with my meal. Another big letdown. I mean when you're making a "makeup meal" it should at least make up for your mistake, not make it worse. Anyway tonight I went back and was told no one could take my order because there was no one to work the register that I could either use the kiosk or go through the drive through. Really? Usually I wont use the kiosk, I dont get a discount for doing an employees job, and it doesnt help provide a job for those that need it most. Anyways the one screen is busted and flickering you couldnt read part of the menu, so I tried the other one and it froze and locked up. So I went somewhere else. I'll probably continue to do so for the next few months maybe longer. Please fix everything about this location,...
Read moreTwo times within days I have been terribly disappointed with this particular store. 880 Butler Street Pgh Pa. I love Taco Bell, but I will never come here again. One night I came up around 10pm. All lights were off in restaurant except one in kitchen where I saw the silhouettes of 2 people and the light of their phones on their faces. Went to drive thru and no one asked for my order. 2 days later I stopped on my way to work. Ordered burritos. As I pulled away I reached into bag to be met with a huge glob of sour cream and tomatoes. It was if they purposely put a huge scoop on top of my food. Which I will add was the worst. It wasn't wrapped tight, it was loose. Had zero appeal. I threw it away. I always give a place a second chance. Well this place got its second chance with me. There's plenty of fast food places nearby where I haven't been disappointed. And if I really want a taco, I'll go to Burger King. Only $1 and there the same awesome tacos every...
