Just had a 40 year Reunion on Saturday 5/25/24 with Marines from around the country, I was very disappointed with the food it was very dry pulled pork, shredded beef, and especially the ribs very very dry and tough, never had bbq food before that the food wasn’t cooked with bbq sauce I was handed a bottle of sauce to put it on myself, the cheesy potatoes were very bland and no taste. I felt the owner is very unprofessional he wanted to stay at our private party and socialize with our guess, yes it’s nice to say hello and speak to out of towners, but when you return after you have left is very unprofessional to where he had to be asked to leave when we went to eat he was hanging out drinking out alcohol and eating our hors d’oeuvres. Read moreThe gentleman there was very nice and suggestive of the food, I ordered the ribs and brisket with the mac and cheese and greens. The ribs themselves felt reheated and tough but we're still decent with the hot sauce bbq, the brisket was paper thing and looked like lunch meat, the greens were definitely canned greens which in my opinion are a disgrace, the mac and cheese was very basic, not the kind you would expect as if you were at your uncles cook outs... My girlfriend ordered the chicken leg which was reheated and dry along with the potato salad which tasted like pure mayo.... COME ON PEOPLE, IS THERE ANY GOOD BBQ ANYMORE...
