This Bagel shop has been getting a lot of hype, especially for not being in a trendy (see: largely gentrified) area like nearby Lawrenceville. I finally got to stop by on a random Wednesday morning off work (I could actually take a long walk from my house to get there, but young kids and a tight schedule made that quite difficult). And I have to say the hype is warranted.

I got a Bacon, Egg and Cheddar sandwich on a French Toast Bagel (though a number of the over a dozen choices tempted me) for takeout, though you can also order online and sit in a pretty large dining area. The experience was pleasant and quick, considering the store already had a number of online orders after just opening in the last half hour. The shop itself has a soft, contemporary feel, with lighter whites and greys accented by some greenery that gives the interior a comfortable feel.

The sandwich was well made and quite delicious, which is the most important thing. The Bagel was soft and chewy, with a nice flavor of maple and butter that enhanced but didn't overpower the other ingredients. The bacon was substantial and well cooked, the cheddar abundant and gooey and creamy, and the fact they cooked the fresh egg with a bit of a runny yolk definitely elevated the entire sandwich. It's a touch pricey for the real deal hounds out there (around 8 bucks for my sandwich, but just 2.25 for a Bagel and spread), but I think the quality and attention to ingredient detail makes it a totally worthwhile morning splurge. It's certainly worth a stop if you're in or around the Glenshaw area in the morning, and want an option that will put an Egg...

I've become a regular at Three Brothers Bagels and can't recommend it enough! Their bagels are absolutely perfect - that ideal combination of chewy inside with a slightly crisp exterior that makes a truly great bagel.

My go-to order is their egg and cheese on a salt bagel - simple but absolutely delicious every time. My spouse swears by their smashburger sandwich, which is surprisingly amazing for a bagel shop!

Their cream cheese selection deserves special mention - they always have creative and delicious options that go beyond your standard varieties. The staff is friendly and efficient, even when they get busy on weekend mornings.

I also love their name and the story behind the place. It adds such a personal touch knowing the family history that went into creating this local treasure. The pride they take in their craft really shows in everything they make.

Whenever we have out-of-town guests visiting, Three Brothers is our automatic first breakfast stop. It's the perfect spot for a quick, warming meal that never disappoints and shows off a local gem. If you haven't tried them yet, you're seriously missing out on some of the best bagel...

This shop has the best bagels that I’ve found yet in the area. I’m giving 4 stars for their terrible ordering system, I shouldn’t have to wait a full half hour to get half a dozen to-go bagels. It’s insane to make someone wait for every other single sandwich order to be made before giving them to-go bulk bagels. They are new so I’ll chalk it up to growing pains but truthfully the lack of ease of ordering will be a big deterrent from me coming here more often. The bagels are a great size and a fair price. The cream cheese was majorly overpriced and a bit mediocre. Also I watched the guy put my order together and set the order up on the counter, but he must have been the apathetic of the three brothers because he didn’t even feel the need to call out the number he just got back to work…luckily I was watching or I could have been stuck in the very tight overcrowded space for even longer than I was. In general, great bagels but lackluster...

I don't even feel like I"m being dramatic when I say that the Porchetta sandwich was one of the best things I've eaten in years. Three Brothers does not miss. They are consistently amazing and this sandwich is just incredible. The pork is amazingly cooked, the giardiniera cuts the richness of everything perfectly! I had to save a half of it for lunch because it was so filling and the 2nd half was, somehow, even better! The juice from the giardiniera soaked into the bagel and was insanely good. Anyways, if you're thinking about going, just do it. Everything on the menu is amazing.
