Shamokin Luna's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Shamokin

What ever happen to good customer service skills and a customer always being right no matter how wrong one may be ?!? So I moved here over 16 months ago & being from Kensington, Philly we had so many options from pizzerias, Chinese, Thai, papi stores to order anything from, many different restaurants in the city all within walking distance or 2 -5 min drive to moving here and being disappointed with the food service and hours in the area and after having Luna’s I was beyond excited to have some exceptional food, at a decent price. Take out/pick up never had an issue but delivery seems to be lacking unfortunately. I ordered an appetizer with the rest of our meal and added a 2 liter, that when it was delivered they forgot the mushrooms and 2 liter. I called and was put on hold for about 8-10 min and was told they would have the driver drop it back off, no problem. 25 min go by and still nothing now I live 5 min from the store NBD! 15 min pass and I get a call from the store informing me that the cook said he cooked em and places em into a little white bag to check for em. I told the girl who handles the orders and phones it’s not there and the first time I called they said I could just credit it to my account I declined and said to just send the items back out. Well she proceeded to get snobby with me and her tone was discerning and she continued to say well now the second cook said he cooked em, and I told her I paid for my order, just because someone cooked it doesn’t mean it got bagged in MY bag it could’ve gotten mistaken and put with someone else’s order. The way she kept saying things as if I lied about receiving $6 mushrooms and when I said okay if it’s that much of an issue credit it to my account and send me my 2 liter it’s been over an hour and half since I received my order… it’s been an extra 15 min now and still nothing!!! I just don’t appreciate the way I was treated and made to feel like I did something wrong for calling them on my order being messed up. I’m a regular with Luna’s and I refuse to go...

• Update* Just ordered 3 cheesesteaks (after seeing someone's post from back in January that had pics- which reminded me of back home). I decided to go against my better judgement & place an order (EVERYONE I have tried here, I gave up on trying to find a good sandwich!). This was on point & will DEFINITELY be returning as a customer! Thank you for giving me a very close to home tasting cheese steak!!!!!

First time trying & very glad I did! Even bigger plus, they deliver! Delivery, they're phenomenal - only took 45 min, compared to others I have ordered only a few blocks away that at times can hit a 2 hr but a typical day being an hr or more. So, being the next town over & getting it to me within that time frame & keeping it piping hot- kudo's to you!

Ordered 2XL pies (1plain & 1pep) and 2 cannoli. The ONLY reason for the 4 star vs 5 star is the cannoli. I will give them props for not using the big, fat shells everyone else around here seems to use! I will give them props for flavoring on the shells! The only constructive criticism I have is: if it wasn't soft to the bite & had snap to it- for a pizza joint, it'd be PERFECTION (compared to the places I've eaten from around here). The pizza, yup! I can see this being a go to (so now, I can say there's 2 around here that are good! Thank you for satisfying...

This place was absolutely fantastic when they first opened. But when I visited on this past Monday I was not so pleased. I ordered a personal stromboli and a French fry. My other half order a California cheesesteak wrap with onion rings instead of fries. We eat in. The wrap and fries were then delivered to our table and it was basically just thrown on the table when it was delivered. The wrap and onion rings were completely eaten and I was asked were is yours. Like really we both sat there the entire time together. So he went and asked about my stromboli and was told that it was coming. So another 10 minutes later it was finally delivered and I said you might as well bring a box now. While the girl went for a box I looked at the stromboli and the middle of it was cold. The cheese was not melted at all. So I pointed this out to my other half and he got mad. So he called someone and was told it would be taken care of. Well it was. They made me another one and I feel like out of spite the next one was smaller and was so dark that some would consider it to be burnt. I sure do hope that this was a one time deal because between the rudeness of the waitress and the the food I probably won't...
