George's Pizza — Restaurant in Shawnee Hills

We came into town on a family vacation and decided to get pizza for the family for dinner. After sorting through a number of places that served pizza, we decided on George's based on options, price, and reviews. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We ordered a deluxe, pepperoni, and cheese pizza, an order of cheesy garlic bread, and wings. The toppings on the pizza were fresh and flavorful. The wings were crispy and juicy and the garlic bread was delicious. The service for pick up was right on time and the staff was very friendly. We had an interesting experience we wanted to share. We ordered pizza and wings from George’s through Door Dash. Just as the delivery time neared, DD sent an email saying delivery would be delayed 15 minutes because the dasher was running late. We were worried our food would arrive cold. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. The owner of George’s delivered our dinner, himself, rather than having us wait and receive a subpar meal. It was hot, fresh and delicious as always. I was an out of state customer. We just got done with a family vacation day at the Columbus Zoo and Waterpark. The service they gave us was outstanding. I said we were out of town, and asked if we could have a few plastic forks and they generously did and asked if we needed plates. Also in are pizza box we received four tootsie rolls, which my kids enjoyed very much. The pizza was very good and the house salad was great as well.
