Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Sheffield Lake

UpdateAfter months of swearing off this business, I decided to stop in today (8/13/19 )to grab a pizza real quick. Neither the employee nor the owner greeted me. They continued talking as I stood there waiting... Maybe what they were discussing was important, but a simple acknowledgement that I was standing there would have been nice. Eventually the employee got a pizza for me. However, she was less than friendly. When I get home and open the pizza box, I see the same quality control issues they had 7 months ago when I left original review. The crust was terrible. It was nonexistent in some sections. The pizza was barely even cut. My 3 stars is now down to 1. I'm not sure how they are still in business. I was happy when a Little Caesar's came to town because we enjoyed getting it from the one in Lorain. It is not the same here. Just bad.

Very poor quality control. Also, we learned that we didn't prefer the amount of sauce that's used, so we started ordering ours with light sauce. However, it's only made the way we request about half the time. We noticed that our light sauce request is followed even less when we order online. Sounds petty, but it's a pretty simple request and not difficult to provide. Just pay attention to the order. The only reason we continue ordering is the price and distance from our house but sometimes I wonder if...

The Cheesy Puffs, both with pepperoni and without, are really good. The crust is light, perfectly golden, with a ton of melted cheese and if there's pepperoni a nice pile of pepperoni tucked underneath the cheese. Once again, I love Little Caesars sauce. The stuff is just good 😊,and nicely seasoned! The Puffa are a nice alternative when you don't want a whole pizza. 🍕

I haven't downloaded their app onto my phone but I use it as a guest to place my order and just pick it up from the pizza portal. Type in your three-digit code and you're out of there. I like this option because I often have my dog in the car and I don't want to spend a lot of time waiting on my order.

This was my first (and probably last) time ordering here. The workers are kids acting like kids— you can hear them screwing around on their phones in the back. Their friends come in, yell, and leave. One worker (braided pigtails) was polite, but then left for the back. Another worker came out roughly ten minutes later and didn’t know that I had been waiting on an order. Cool. The floor in front of the counter was kind of grody.

The pizza itself is… edible, probably. I ordered a cheese deep dish. It has virtually no sauce, and the bottom of the crust tastes like some kind of mechanical failure. I can’t decide what to do with my leftovers… and I do not have high standards for pizza, so you know that’s not a great sign.

At any rate, it’s worth the extra cost and travel time to go...
