Fizz - Restaurant, Bar and Live Music Room — Restaurant in Sheffield

Worst management ever! Her name is Hannah. Even the waitress tried her best to diffuse a potential bad experience, but the manager would not have it! From what I witnessed, the staff was good but their manager is terrible. She does not support them, she is a blatant liar, and she opposed every attempt her staff member tried to make customers (several) happy. I have many years in management . I am a nonconfrontational person. But this manager blantantly lied and we WILL NOT be back as long AS SHE is there!! Natasha is wonderful and has a natural Knack of providing great customer service. Yet, she was given no credit by the manager. Hannah also never once apologized, never owned any of it, made excuses, said very hateful things:

"we don't caterr to Dixie Mafia fans" "Dixie Mafia fans act so entitled"

She even quizzed ne, as if I were a child, on the names of the people who would also be sitting at the table. I wanted to leave right then! But we traveled from out of town, stayed in the hotel two nights, and really wanted to see our very dear friends that make up the Dixie Mafia band.

I have been many places with this band and never have we, or they, been treated this way! It's as if they either cannot handle a big crowd(Dixie Mafia always has a big following) or simply do not WANT the business. I know of others who have been told to go sit in your car and wait, try to see if you can come in later(yet it was not a full house, and they even pointed out several empty tables).

There are inconsistencies in if the place does, or does not , reserve tables. Also inconsistencies in a supposed "waiting list" (while you wait in your car).

We are 56 and 59 years old and have NEVER experienced anything quite like this! We are both, or have been , in professions where we deal with customers daily, as well as manage others. This place will not survive with Hannah...

The food was absolutely delicious and I would go back again and again for the food. But it is impossible to have a quiet conversation with the people at your table due to all the noise. Despite the fact that they have a full service upscale menu, Fizz still operates as a bar with Bingo and Karaoke weekly, plus a DJ or live music most other nights of the week.. I was not expecting a dive bar atmosphere based on the menu or the reviews of the food. It's such a shame because this area needs and deserves another quality dining experience. It's also not like it's a popular spot for karaoke. We were "entertained" by the same 2 or 3 men during the entirety of our meal and several times had to pause our conversations to wait for them to finish. Although, I haven't read a lot of reviews like this one, now that I've been and had conversations about it. This seems to be the general consensus. I really hope this restaurant is successful . But it seems they are having an identity crisis...

We went in tried to sit at the bar, and the bartender told us we had to wait for the hostess. Then 10 minutes later the bartender seated us. We sat at the table for at least 15 minutes. Then the bartender came and asked us what we wanted. We said we would just order room service. She then told me if we were gonna be that way she just assumed we ate somewhere else. We are staying at the clarion hotel which is where the restaurant is located. We were going to be spending alot of money. Their loss Stanfields gain. The place was not even busy.
