Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Sheffield

While the children really enjoyed it, they just didn't understand the whole story. On my 4 year olds son's birthday party, which I had made reservations for; it was a calamity at best. Firstly, I was forced to pay for at least 4 children in order to make birthday reservations, though I only had 3 going. I did, and split the tokens amongst the three if them. Half of the games were out if order, or malfunctioning; the other half were hit and miss on dispensing tickets when tickets were earned. The photo booths were out of paper, and not refilled despite multiple requests from multiple patrons. The animitronics were in poor condition, only one even moved; and even then, out of line with the music - reminiscent of an old dubbed foreign Kung-Fu movie. The music and sound effects were deplorable; barely audible. The video playing along with the birthday show was being shown on an old tube TV; itself in poor condition. My son's cake, which was pre-ordered when reservations were made, was completely wrong. I had ordered chocolate, but he was given some type of horrendous tasting butter creme. His pinata was never given, and the Ticket Blaster event was only given to him upon multiple requests and showing of my reservation receipts. The Chucky birthday shirt was faded and worn; as in literally worn by (many) others; though it was supposed to be new, and a party gift for him. The Dippin Dots also included in the party was never offered. I called them out on this as we were more or less being rushed out; they seemed irritated, but complied. The staff was mostly polite and smiling, though seeming at times preoccupied with themselves more than anything else. Does not accept summer fun passes. We've been to 14 locations in a one year period and this is the first one that doesn't accept it. It was also so busy that you couldn't walk around without bumping into another person. I've never seen a chuck e cheese that packed and to be honest, I'm not 100% sure the fire code would allow it either lol. Like Chuck E Cheese on a saturday with 4 birthday parties is generally less crowded than what we saw. There were two preschool graduations and they all went there so maybe thats why they dont accept the pass? Maybe because this community uses it for their events? Regardless, we decided to drive on and go somewhere else because paying extra to fight through a crowd isn't enjoyable. But two stars mainly for not taking the pass. We use Chuck E Cheese for traveling to break up our trips and hopefully this is the only location that we will come across that doesnt participate like the rest of them do!

Also, it would be insanely easy to lose your child in there with how many people were crammed in. There weren't any employees manning the door. This gives parents a false sense of security. I would honestly just do away with the kids check if you're not going to use it. Especially when it's like a where's Waldo...

We had a blast taking our 2 girls here.....Our oldest ran around having such fun,and our infant had fun Just looking at all the blinking lights ,and noises,and the fun atmosphere was friendly,fun,and family orientated.The staff was great and we were the only people in there since we arrived 2 hours before closing.They treated us great and not like a nuisance due to not being busy and we stayed till closing and cleaned our own table to help and show our appreciation for their hospitality. We had a great tasting pizza, and played alot of games,won to us with tickets,and had dipping dots before leaving which the staff gave us one after we bought one that my wife ended up not looking flavor. Such great people here and fun and friendly. I give them 2 thumbs up on their hospitality,and kindness. Great Venue,Great Staff,Its Chuck E Cheese,what could be wrong,lol. Also it was very clean,bathrooms were maintained,tables wiped down,floors swept,no trash..... It was smaller than other Chuck E Cheeses but that means it's less sq.footage I have to hunt my kiddos down lol when there running around Having a great time..😁👍👍👍😁😁😁👍👍👍
