We don't frequent Guido's often but we have in the past. A local pizza place we frequently order from was randomly closed today and we decided to go back to Guido's. Won't make that decision again. Our delivery arrived 40 minutes after the 45 minutes that was said to be delivered. Now I know everyone is short staffed and with the pandemic you never know what you are getting these days...but at least I want honesty from a consumer standpoint. We have young kids and I don't want to be told something is going to be 45 minutes and it's 85 minutes. I would've got my kids something else to eat at this point and called pizza a day. When I called the manager to tell them the difference in time, I was told well he's the one that can update the online system of how long of a wait it was going to be and if I called In person I would've been told something different because he was cooking. He offered to refund my money..... I don't want a refund, I want to support local businesses. I want to know that my customer satisfaction matters to a company these days and I feel like most places are falling short. I think it's completely insulting to be told well if you would've called, instead of ordering online (which everything is based on now) my results may have been different. I absolutely will not be back to Guido's and hope for all your future customers the satisfaction...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time customer. Louie's has been my go to pizza place forever and my wife suggested Guido's. I should have known......... For starters $26.84 (delivered without tip) for 10 small pieces of pizza with minimal pepperoni and bacon (to be honest I didn't even taste the bacon once). I have included pictures to back all this up. But they swear they put it on there! LOL that's what they said when I called. Moving on to the cheese..... When you bit into the pizza most of the cheese came off with it. It was this weird kind of hard chewy almost like bubble gum cheese. I've never experienced anything quite like it. To be fair, I did order the pizza well done. But I always order my pizza well done and nobody else has ever had their cheese come out like that so I doubt that was the issue. It was not terrible. But for the money there's just no value. You got to put more pepperoni on there and at least let me taste some bacon. Especially If you're going to charge that kind of money. you got to use premium ingredients. It's like when I go to Ruth' Chris. I'm not expecting Texas Roadhouse you know what I'm saying? It's just the way my wife was raving about this place I was expecting so much more. Anyways, it is what it is. Like I said it's not terrible but I wouldn't be interested in eating it again. It definitely beats the hell out of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my new favorite pizza place. I've been getting pizza and other items from this Guido's about once a month since summer. It's awesome. Staff is friendly, place looks clean and well kept, order is always correct, ready in a timely manner, lots of coupons and deals in the mail or through the text rewards. Most importantly, the product is delicious. The original and fire roasted sauces are great. The cheese tastes like a much better quality than most other places.
I'm changing my review from 5 to 3 stars because of my last visit. I ordered for pickup, with a coupon. I stated over the phone I had the coupon for coupon price, and to add a tip. I would pay upon pickup. On pickup the receipt did not include the coupon price or tip. I handed the young woman who came out the coupon and my card, said "I have a coupon and please add a $2 tip." Well, she added the tip, took my coupon, didn't change the price. Didn't realize this until driving away and she was already inside. Called to address and nobody answered. I feel...
