I stopped in at the Shelby, NC location this morning. I was waited on by a very nice lady at the cash register. She was nice but seemed to be a bit confused and did not give me a coffee cup. I ordered two sausage biscuits and a medium decaf coffee. While ordering, I noticed another man at the pick-up location who had been there since I entered the store. I got in line behind him to wait for my order. No one seemed to know what he ordered. The lady who was preparing the orders asked him several times what he ordered. The cashier came over and asked him what he had ordered. After picking up several tickets, some were on the floor, she told the individual what he ordered and was told that she did not have that order. After about six minutes the man finally go his order. I then waited another four minutes for my order to be prepared and given to me. I had to ask for a coffee cup. The individual who had been preparing the orders was now at the pick-up window. She gave me the wrong size cup and began telling the cashier to remember to hand out cups. When I attempted to obtain the coffee, both urns were empty. I returned to the pick-up window and informed the staff member and she responded that they took it down after ten o'clock. She took my cup, went behind the counter and filled it up. I left the restaurant and left the parking lot. As I was leaving the site I took a sip of the coffee and it was cold. The sausage biscuits were great, but everything else...
Read moreBe careful what you order! We are new residents to Shelby and stopped by this morning for a quick breakfast. After placing my order for dine in the manager reviewed our order and asked me "What is a sausage and gravy I biscuit ?" I laughed and replied it's a sausage gravey biscuit with extra sausage. She rolled her eyes and disappeared. She came back with two regular sausage biscuits wrapped. I said that's not what I ordered and she said it was. I started to explain again and she interrupted me saying she didn't care what I ordered. My wife, also tried to explain and the manager interrupted her as well. I immediately asked for a refund and sent my wife out to the car. The manager responded that they don't do refunds! The manager refused to give me a refund and instead made a phone call. She stated to the person she called that she was trying to fix my order but that I was insisting on a refund. I interrupted again insisting on a refund. While she was arguing I stated very clearly, "This was only my second visit to the restaurant, but it would definitely be my last. That no one was going to speak to me in such a disrespectful way and expect me to stand by and do nothing!" I left after the manager finally hung up the phone and gave me back my money. So my advice to the General Manager/Owner, remind your employees that the customer is the reason they have a job and that the customer is...
Read moreJust left from this location. Asked politely to have my sandwich cut in half after placing order at automated system. Was aware if it would honor my request of cutting the sandwich in half so I asked at the window where I was the ONLY customer in the line. The cashier Jennifer states well the sandwich is already in the bag, what do you want me to do?! As she exemplifies an attitude. Closes the window and proceeds to talk to her manager with an attitude as if she is the one having to cut the biscuit. The manger with the love said something smart the proceed to giggle. As Jennifer states as she giggles that’s crazy and proceeds to give me my change and receipt. I politely say thank you. I was not offered any condiments or anything. As I open my wrapper the biscuit is falling apart because it was done incorrectly and the thick part of the chicken sandwich was not edible it wasn’t done. It was not hot when received the biscuit nor the Bo-rounds that you can tell had been sitting because they felt heavy with grease on my tongue. I have NEVER received such awful service before at this location and I hope the GM makes the proper changes...
