China 1 — Restaurant in Shelbyville

Family wanted Chinese. I ordered Hunan Beef and specifically requested it be spicy from reading an earlier review. Bland, bland, bland. They sprinkled some pepper flakes, but no peppers. The egg rolls were okay, but I can buy Pagoda's from Kroger with more flavor. The Crab Rangoon was popular with the family, but that is very hard to mess up. The Honey Chicken and Orange Chicken were okay, but, again that is hard to mess up. Definitely not ordering from here again. I understand we are in a pandemic, but if you cannot make the dish properly, say so.

Staff is worthless they cannot track their own orders properly. When given the order number provided by their service they cannot determine your order. Not only that, but they can't even determine it using the name provided on the order either. What is the point in filling in the information if they can't track. Also don't use their lacking online order. It told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. 35 minutes later the order was finally placed.

Why is this place unable to track its own order numbers given by their own service? Or by the name you placed it with? Save your yourself the headache and order from a different location. At least the rest of...

Where do I begin? This place had been recommended by a friend. I live one county over from this location, but drove it anyway to try the "fantastic food". I ordered in person and waited for my food. There were no customers in the place at the time. I ordered fried wontons, which were absolutely outstanding. I also ordered shrimp fried rice. I got home (a 30 min+ drive) and when I opened the "fried rice", I had a box full of cooked rice, one piece of carrot, one pea and 6 pieces of uncooked shrimp in the bottom of the container.
