My husband and I had a meal at this kfc yesterday....I have never had such an awful experience in a restaurant in my life. There was no one in the dining room when we went in. We ordered our meal and expected the usual 10 or 15 minutes wait. After 30 minutes I went to the counter only to be ignored....I stood there another 15 or so minutes trying not to lose my patience. If we hadn't already paid we would have left but knowing that getting a refund would be next to impossible I continued to wait. Finally I shouted to the woman who was standing in the back..I had to shout in order to be heard because even though I had been standing there all this time not once did anyone bother to ask me what my problem was. When I asked her about my order she just gave me a very short questioning look, then..nothing. Finally I got the attention of a man who was walking through and asked him about my order only to find out the original employee who took our order an hour earlier had failed to put it through so only then did they fill the order...with the wrong food. Since we had been there for over an hour waiting for our food we didn't bother trying to get the correct order. On top of all the LOUSY service the food we finally got was close to inedible!! The chicken was extremely tough and over cooked and the potatoes tasted like paste. I wholeheartedly advise anyone who might consider this kfc to run in any other direction. The only reason I gave it even one star is because 0 star is...
Read moreI haven't been to KFC for many years. We used to go for the buffet. I came in today and knew there was no longer a buffet nor several sides they used to offer, like baked beans, and that the mashed potatoes are instant, so my review does not complain about any of those things.
There was a line out the door, and nobody working the register. Someone came in behind me and was talking to the guy in front of me. Apparently, they had planned to meet for lunch. The new guy asked his friend, "How long have you been in line?" The guy in front of me said, "About 5 minutes." That was accurate because I came in right behind him. Both men left, and then a party of 5 that was in front of me left as well. That left only 3 of us. A couple of minutes later, someone came to the register. She seemed really unhappy and cranky. I ordered a 3 piece meal, and it was the tiniest thing I've ever seen. The biscuit was half the size of Bojangle's biscuits, and even the chicken pieces were small. I didn't get any butter or honey or anything to put on the biscuit. Food was barely warm.
I can't really say much good about this visit. I...
Read moreNever again!!!!!!!!! In the Gulf coast area KFC's were rare. We looked forward to eating there when we came upon one in Texas or elsewhere inspite of having some good fried chicken places like Churches, Popeyes and other privately owned places because of the seasonings and signature coleslaw. However, after moving here we expected much better, but have been disappointed repeatedly, especially rececently when I paid over 5 dollars for 2 pieces of meat the size, combind, less than my hand. The cornbread was very dry and the coleslaw was bad, perhaps spoiled and they wanted to charge me extra for the drink. When I complained they were nonchalant and not apologetic at all. They've closed the one in Eminence and one in Shelbyville, maybe the other one should follow suit. They are charging over 12 dollars for the buffet which looked unappetizing. None of the employee's seemed to care about the food or their job's. My wife and I prefer Kroger's fried chicken and even better the chicken from Country Boy's in Eminence or Will's Grill in Simpsonville. All we can say is...
