I don't know what others are enjoying so much besides the setting. We got the veggie fajitas, which I thought would be great after other good reviews, plus $23 each. But the flavor was mediocre, and there was actually mold on a couple of the tortillas. The lettuce tasted weird - like it had been washed in something besides water, and it wasn't fully rinsed.

On the plus side, the chips, guacamole, and salsa were all tasty. And our waitress was very nice.

Other downsides include that the chip basket was not generous, and they note on the menu that "refills are not free," but they don't have a chip price on the menu. We were seated in a weird area by ourselves which has obviously been added on recently. It was hot and stuffy in the evening, it had a bunch of storage stuff piled in the corner, and it had some unattractive "repairs" in progress. The staff sort of forgot about us there - so no one ever brought us more water, asked how the food was, or gave us a chance to order more chips.

Finally, if you happen to be vegan, the fajitas are the ONLY thing on the menu that you can eat, and you have to skip the rice because it has chicken broth in it. Our waitress offered a "small side salad" to compensate, which was literally about 1/3 cup. But in addition to the weird taste, they put...

The food tastes good, however (read to the end/ie; bugs) In what world is it OK to not refill the chips? It says right on the menu that they do not give chip refills. Also, the portion sizes are really small for the price. Never do I ever finish my rice & beans at any other Mexican restaurant and I have nice leftovers, but here I do, easily. The main part of the dish is about half the standard portion size also. The portion/pricing took off the first star. The other two are because my son's soda had at least 6 sugar ants crawling around at the top (inside) of his Pepsi glass (above the soda/below the rim) when we told the waitress, she did react, but only got us a new one. I would have think our drinks would have a least been comp'd, but we were charged, and we paid. That was odd. I mean, my kid was served bugs. and we spent the rest of our time wondering if our food contained bugs. Visual inspection says no, but I...

First time today for a late lunch. Wife had 3 Compadres and loved everything [I thought the rice as a little bland, everything else excellent]. I had the Super Burrito w/Pork. Yikes, it is super sized, as well as super tasty [Wife agreed!]. I brought fully half home, and I'm normally a member of the Clean Plate Club when the food is this good. Deducted 1 star due to: Hot sauce rather bland [even though it did have a little heat]. Server was very nice, but...my Guac was not on the side [as ordered]; never served the water we ordered along with our alcoholic beverages. My name unnecessarily printed on receipt. Poor security for anyone concerned about identity theft.

Deduction aside, we'll definitely return again for the food, even though we live an...

This restaurant has a great potential awesome outdoor area but some of the food needs to elevate its flavor especially the mole . It was only chicken with another red sauce. Plates are big and on the menu it says if you share you are gonna be extra charge ? I've never seen that! When we arrived the service was good but at the end they didn't check our table we left the table with all the dirty plates no one came to picked up . Nobody ask any dessert? Service has to be great from start to end.

Was given a recomendation to visti this place for a nice lunch. We were not disappointed. The friendly staff greeted us and searlted us out on the covered porch. Beautiful views accented the flavorful foods . I had steak fajita and the wife had a chimmi.. bothe were very good. The chips and salsa were very tasty. The owner works the reaturant and greets his patrons. A very nice place to vist. We will be back and i can say without reservation, you should give it a try.

Wow, what a hidden gem. The outdoor seating is wonderful with bucolic views of Hood Canal. Our favorite food items include the cheese and onion enchiladas, as well as the tostada. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Can't forget the margs! We recommend their Cadillac and Rosarita. Mmmm, good. Did we mention it's on a pier? If you boat, there's plenty of slips to tie up and then tie one on. Service was attentive and the restaurant was clean.
