Called in a order at 5:45pm on Friday evening for delivery.. They said an hour wait, ok, fine it's Friday I understand your a little busy.. I'll wait.. An hour and 15 min, I call and get "We're a bit behind, we'll have it out to you shortly" An hour and 30 min.. Same thing.. An hour and 45 min.. Still waiting.. Call and ask if it'd be quicker for me to just come pick up, she says "Oh they left a few minutes ago with your food, you should have it ANY minute now" 2 hours exactly after ordering, I finally get my food.. I live 3 blocks away.. How in the world does it take 15 minutes to go 3 blocks? Was the delivery boy walking? Food was great, nice and hot, but of course it was about 90 out, so I guess it wouldn't cool off too much.. Some of the best pizza I've had.. Just not worth the wait when you have a 1yr old and 3yr old screaming hungry for a hour and a half because you order at a certain time expecting to feed the kids when they are use to eating and they have to wait forever. Major fail Francesco's! Way to make me order from you again..
1st timer to Francesco's by the way.. Last...
Read moreI literally love this place. Food is usually 100% and above average, especially for the area. If there’s ever a mistake on their end, there’s no back and forth or arguments of who is correct- they just fix it and they fix it without a fuss, unlike the rest of this county/restaurants. Salads are the bomb- a little pricey but delicious. Hoagie rolls are amazing. Slightly odd they don’t have burger buns and instead use a slice of hoagie bread but it’s whatever for me since I’m not much of a burger person. Also odd they put wax paper in the hoagies but I just ask for it without. One of my favorite parts of the day is coming home from work and picking up Francesco’s to end my night. Only real thing I would complain about are most of the girls/women that answer the phone- usually pretty snippy and just overall unwelcoming, more so the middle aged women. Particularly Amanda. But the food is delicious so I digress. Def a solid 4.5 so far, out of 5....
Read moreThe Marinara sauce is very good. Authentic. Homemade. Not super sugary. The meatballs are hardy. The chicken parm? Great breading, cheese, and juicy chicken. They cooked the Calamari perfectly (not easy to do at all) and the subtle sweet chili sauce was amazing, with not too much and not too little flavor. All their cheeses that I did taste were quite special and you could tell they made them fresh. Very well done. They really do a beautiful job with their food. If you get the chance, and you want to try something special, you will find it at this restaurant. I was very pleased with their food. Their chefs seemed to care alot. The person we had with us who grew up on his mother's Italian cooking approved of the gnocchi. And if I could still feel on the inside, the cannolis would have brought tears to my eyes. The cheesecake was delicious too! :) If you are in the area, I would give them a try; everything we had...
