Monaghan's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Sheridan

I ordered plain cheeseburger no vegetables, lettuce tomatoes onion, pickle as I have allergies. I get a cheeseburger with everything on it except the mayonnaise packets I did ask for. I callled right back as soon as my husband got back with food and all I got was excuses. We having hard time keeping staff(no wonder why) had I not payed attention they could have killed me. Most rude unprofessional food/ bar establishment I’ve ever seen at least others places would try to make this right instead of saying we’re doing the best we could. A refund for unedible foood would have appropriate since obvioulsy when receiving food when I said multiple times I was allergic it was easier for her to pass the blame on understaffed Cooks and their inability to keep them. I know how ht that is first hand they could of killed me and all the could offer was apology. Will Never recommend this place to anyone and will make sure I share my horrific story wil tveryone. If you still serve some one after them making it cleanse only meat n cheese due to allergies that should be priority. Very disgusted especially when husband brings food home and says there is 4 people In there and waitress swearing awful lot. My suggestion would be close this place down before someone dies from...

Diane was our waitress, bartender and became our friend for the next couple of beers. The draft beers were fresh and they were ice cold. We also found out that they have an out door patio.

I struck up a conversation with Jim that also works there and is a bar back. He was super nice, friendly and also confirmed a couple stories that I heard this evening.

They have the original metal ceiling and still have the bullet holes in the ceiling that were made from Buffalo Bill.

This place was established in 1892. It is a great local hang out so we got to meet some of the Friday night regulars. I asked him about this place and they said it was really fun and the food is really good.

They offer burritos, fish and chips on Friday, wings, breakfast lunch and dinner. We also have karaoke on Fridays so I have to leave before that starts, lol.

To start with, their mediocre food is overpriced. I can see why people go here, I just can't see why they would ever go back.

None of the staff wore masks, and got very confrontational when asked about it. They forgot part of our take-out order. The person who was helping me (she said she was the manager) spent 5 minutes between the cc machine and me simply chatting to customers that weren't needing assistance. The manager insisted that her staff didn't have to wear masks because they were immune due to already having had covid. With logic like that, what kind of food are they serving? Unless I hear that this business is under new management, I won't go back. After being treated like we were, I didn't even have the appetite to eat their sub-rate food.
