Casa Mexicana — Restaurant in Sherwood

This Mexican restaurant has been located here for years and one is most always able to get a seat and be served quickly. Maybe not most always, maybe always. Lots of room here and a huge bar area. Wonder if they still have a band playing on one night a week?? Oops, I digress. Today I tried this wonderful entree which was three to a plate birrias tacos loaded with a delicious brisket steak, melted white cheese, and onions. Served with a sauce that matches any good chef’s stock I’ve ever had. I asked the server what it was when I saw it on the menu and he said, “Very good.” So I ordered it. If you’re wondering what a birria is, I looked it up. “Modern birria is typically made with beef -- it has a rich, familiar taste that blends perfectly with the traditional flavors of the spicy, umami-forward adobo and consomé. Beef also softens wonderfully when you slow cook it, and it shreds nicely, making it ideal for use in tacos.”

The only reason I am giving them this one star is because that's the only way I can write a review. I called and ordered a large cheese dip and I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I get there to pick my order up and I stand at the door 10 minutes if not more and watched several employees walk past me and never greet me or ask if I needed help. Finally two gentleman come in to be seated and they tell the waiter I need to be helped before they are seated and the waitress comes up to me with the worst attitude and because I asked for a manager her attitude got even worse. Finally the manager comes, hears how this young lady is treating me and does nothing about the situation. I then state to him that it is ridiculous that I have to pay for my order after being treated this way. He basically brushes me off, gives me my change and tells me thank you have a nice day. I will no longer give them my business since treating a customer like this...

I am a returning customer because they add vegetables to my fajitas the way I like. I have never dealt with the man who took my order and served me last night. First , they forgot my rice/beans from my fajitas and my cheese dip. So I had to drive back up there. Then, he blamed me for getting my order wrong. He said he didn't understand me asking for cheese dip but he clearly asked if I wanted a small or a large. Then he refused to give me cheesedip even though they messed up and said it was my fault, we didn't pay for it. But the problem was, we wouldn't know what we paid for because they didn't give us or show us a reciept whatsoever. Not to mentiom they overcharged us and that was the price we normally pay including cheesedip. For that price I can go to On The Border up the street and get...
